The kicking game.

If we have a shyte kicking game the blame firmly rests with Flanno.

He should’ve given Maloney the upgrade he deserved and should have been shopping Townsend around instead.

Agree with this. Townsend was of contract last year an should not have been resigned, especially on the money he was.
Maloney rightly or wrongly sulked, but an upgrade and extension would have taken that away.

Still could have went all out for Moylan or Pearce and been in a better position.

As it stands, we have a 7 who is out of favour, out of form and has no belief or confidence in himself. Can he turn it around? Yes, of course he can. Will he? I highly doubt it. Maybe for a game or two, but one knock on, or poor kick, or easy conversion miss will bring the demons back.

People forget how bad Maloney was last year. He could have justified a pay-rise by playing to his potential.

But no, he tanked and took the whole team down with him. Missed millions of tackles (completely through lack of effort), 36 penalties conceded, bugger all kicks. Got some try assists but never did anything more than required. He didn't even look to direct any play. Just stood in his corridor trying to avoid contact.

And his stats were pretty comparable to Chad's really. A few more try assists but his dumb ass plays made up for that.

I've seen few dumber plays on a football field than his intentional sin-bin in last year's semi.

He wasted an opportunity for our club to contest another GF through his sheer selfishness.

Some leader he is.

He's a selfish human.

Chad might not be the answer but that fugnuckle certainly wasn't either.

He's a cancer.

Couldn't agree more. If that's the way he behaves when he doesn't get what he wants, then he can f**k off.

He was a disgrace last year. Absolute disgrace.

And all when he was only one year into his contract.

It shows how important the mental side of elite sport is. I hope Chad comes good. The team needs him at his best if to have any hope of winning the comp.
