tbh i wouldn't say uate is a great player. he's a sensational athlete though. i don't really think he has much of a feel for the game at all really when i watch him play... obviously moreso in defence.

Second. He could be a lot of things, but he'd need a lot of work to be a great footballer. At the moment I see a Jekyll and Hyde style player, and not much indication to prove that he'll ever be much better than a gifted athlete who can't defend.

True, Joey had mentioned during his time in the UK that he'd like to take Gleeson back with him to the Knights, or words to that effect. Rated him very highly.

Tbh if we were looking at the UK though, I'd prefer to get Gidley back... somewhat backwards thinking of me, but since it won't happen then I can write it off as nostalgia over logic. Sigh.

Nah, not having a shot at your comment. Just pointing out that he is not as bad most poeple think and in comparison to our wingers he can actually catch kicks at the end of a set or finish off plays.

That would be an excellent signature. Anderson has been a shining light among many at the sharkies this season. They can break the drought if all goes their way, and i do mean all. I am going for the sharks in the finals simply because they have worked so very hard with a limited attacking arsenal. Also Isaac is playing for them so it is a done deal really.

The fact noone will name the player suggests to me his club isn't aware yet. I would also suggest we won't know until after the premiers are decided. Whether we get the player or not is another thing all together. The rumour mill as to who the player may be is strangely quiet. I hope we aren't asking a player to break contract.
