Some observations:

1. Extremely congested from 5th down to 12th inclusive. In spite of some losses in recent weeks, I'm not unhappy to see the Knights sitting in 9th place. For and against could prove to be important though, so hopefully we can get win convincingly in the coming weeks.

2. The Dragons' for and against is absolutely incredible!

3. Good to see the Tigers looking competitive this year.

4. I still can't believe how badly the Warriors are going this year!

5. A question - could the Cowboys be heading for the finals this year???

The big positive is our for and against. It has sunk us in the last couple of years. Im looking for something....anything ;-)

The Cowboys shouldn't be where they are. Every team in the comp has won more games than them bar Souths, Manly & NZ.

You're right Earl, the Cowboys have been artificially elevated up the ladder because they have had 2 byes.

I didn't notice that when I posted originally.

The Cowboys have also LOST LESS games than any team bar the Top 4.

It's good to see the comp so close, but It'd be better if the Knights were in the top 4. The top 3 have had both their byes though, so hopefully they will lose a couple more. It's bloody unfair that 2 of the top 3 teams get both their byes during the week origin players aren't avaliable, I think the teams likely to have a few players in origin should only have the 1 bye before origin, and play lower teams (from the year before) to give those teams a chance, and to make it even, we only get 1 of those weeks off, but Broncos and Roosters get 2, Wests have their halfback out and I think they dont get any of those weeks off, I just think it's unfair.

Roosters and the Broncos have had their byes in between origin every yr since the bye came in.
I think we have had our share though. I think it's better for us the have the bye after Origin 3 anyway... just to give the boys a rest.
