I said this years ago, WCC would be by far the easiest game to take internationally…

we are already fly a team to the other side of the world, so meeting in the middle shouldnt be an issue. We could sell it as the biggest club rugby match of the year (comparision to the Superbowl) and it would not be at all disruptive to any of the competition.

give it to a promoter and pick a different US/european city each year depending of where we might get a decent crowd. We dont need to conquer the market, just be the gimmick of the week and aim for 20k crowd

Spain would be a great place, they got 35k to a Super League game.

It's close enough for poms to travel.

The stadium is half full or half empty depending on your piont of view.
Yeah, I talk to some Americans on a music forum. I’ve got 3 that have promised to watch it on TV.
Another guy is in Vegas for a concert and NASCAR chirped in with the weather report and “at least that won’t stop the NASCAR”. Couldn’t resist chipping back that seeing as it is in an enclosed stadium it won’t be stopping the NRL either.

From his report though, I’d say it will affect the walk ups. If you aren’t rusted on or with an expensive ticket you might be tempted to give it a miss

You need to change the ESL season start date for it to be possible

The biggest difference is people are flying into this game expecting to see a genuine game

You can't say the same about the WCC
