There is no end game for Vegas. If you measure if by results in the US, it will be a failure. It is simply a brilliant promotional tool for the NRL season in Aus/NZ. General interest and crowds would not be up as much this season without all of the goodwill and publicity generated by the Vegas opening.

1. season launch which generates massively publicity to start the season

2. source of profits via sponsorships and Las Vegas paying more for it

3. more subscribers to nrl app

4. support rugby league clubs in America and Canada

5. generate gambling and other sponsorship deals eg sharks 5 million advance etc

Imagine being a GenY or Z, staying at home longer because rents are too high, property ownership is a distant dream, a fantasy, a mirage that they were sold like a trump NFT, work hard and long and you can get a home, and by the way you will have to work until you are your grandparents age today (not 60s, 70s) ....... and now you are meant to work in a job that will physically break you at 50, but you will still have to work, and work and work....... but you see the benefits that other countries have for their workers that you dont have or are being incrementally destroyed by people who never worked hard in a factory,....... and then all you hear is "they dont want to work hard".....and still play local Rugby League on Saturday and get thumped there and still have to turn up to work on Monday with your ears ringing from the hits you have taken in local footy on the weekend..

and then you see all the NRL Narks, on the take, all fly off to Vegas for R and R....screw that
