There are supposedly 50k tickets sold and based on Weilder's reporting 15-20k (let's ave at 17.5k) are Aussies, 9k from NZ and 8k from England which totals about 35k so that leaves about 15k. From that the majority I would think are US locals or visitors to Vegas and a % of that would be ex-pats, whether Aussies, Kiwi's or Poms living in the US or say Canada and want to watch a live game. So you might have say 10k American's having bought tickets. Is this a good, ok or poor outcome, taking into account is the NRL trying to grow the game in the US or really only after the gambling or TV dollar.

Most of those will be interested event goers. Will they latch on to RL after seeing one game live? probably not given they cant really see any more.
For NRL I'dd suggest its about filling the stadium as much as possible for tv and revenue than it is about converting any significant number of Americans into RL fans. They've given up on the rhetoric of 1% tv audience, gambling revenue etc after 1 year. Its now about not losing money, starting the season with a bang in Aus&Nz and if anything else comes of it well thats a bonus.
