I honestly believe that we now have the team balanced properly. Robson isn't the greatest half back we have ever had at Parra, but he is doing his job. Organising, tackling and getting the ball where it needs to be. He also has a reasonable running game. One day, someone will fall for his jink and he will split the line.
With players like Hayne, Mortimer and now Mateo, we don't need a dominant half back.
We have wingers and centres in form and who have pace.
Our forwards are working hard and getting their jobs done. The offloads are coming as well. Our forwards are giving less penalties away than we were. I think Hauraki was the worst offender for this IMO.
Our hookers are both in great form. Earlier on in the season, Kingston had it all over Keating but Keats has come good as well. Both have scored brilliant solo tries in the past few weeks.
Our kickers are kicking to the opposition on the full less. The kick-chase is awesome of late, as shown by the try to Burty on friday.
Burty's goal kicking has come good again. Not to mention Inu's what 5 from 5 or 4 from 4 against the Tigers the other week.
Also our bench are doing their jobs also. Ben Smith has finally adjusted to the role of a second rower. Mannah has learnt what it takes to be a first grader and as i said about Kingston going great guns. The 4th interchange spot swapped around a little, with Brod Wright, Latimore and Joe G all competing for game time. Wright is out now and Joe has earnt a starting spot which shows how much he has worked to earn it.
