Is the only League show I am currently watching to be honest. Very very good show.

Cowell is a typical Sharks fan. SO excited when we score our one win now and again haha.

NRL on fox is much better. League lounge started off great but seems to be struggling for ideas of late with some odd segments.

The potato segment with Hindmarsh and the preacher segment this week for example.

Ive never seen it properly, a couple of times I've been at the pub and it's on a telly in the background and it looks like they are all having a laugh. I'd love to see it, are there highlights on the net anywhere?

Don't bother, it's the worst rugby league show on TV, well maybe equal worst with the Thursday Footy Show.

It's alright when they're just shooting the s**t but when they're doing skits it blows The Thursday Footy Show out of the water as far as unfunny tv bits go.

The Wayne Bennett segment a few weeks back comes to mind.

It's getting better by the week.

Smith is a solid host, Brandy doesn't do much (which is a good thing), Cowell is uniformly likable, and Renee Gartner is an asset to the show and to women in league. Knowledgable and personable... all that is needed. Mathison is random, but there's a place for that in small doses.

Still, I dont mind the show. At least theres not as much boring cliches and the player interviews are usually a bit more colourful.

That's one of the reasons I enjoy it. It's a lot more relaxed than the other NRL shows and it's something different. I find Brendan Cowell funny (his list always cracks me up) and James Matheson is also pretty entertaining (I found the preacher James segment funny the other night). Renee Gartner is very nice, and knowledgable about the game, and not just put there to look good (although she does do that). Smith and Brandy I guess make it feel like it's a Rugby League show, not just a random group sitting on a couch talking about footy.

I made 3 attempts to watch the Nine footy show way back when Adam was a boy but have no trouble with the Lounge.

As long as it continues just to be a lighthearted attempt to show players as they are off the field it gets my vote.

IMO the best NRL show out there. Has serious stuff mixed with light-hearted stuff. Good mix but without the crap TFS has (and I like TFS)
