I missed the episode were she did the splits a few weeks ago, I would have went straight to the toilet after that. f**k I was filthy when I saw the add.

Had my Jack Russell asleep on my lap . . . he wondered how I rubbed his belly with my hands on my head

Cowell is the reason to watch it, he's super witty. He's not supposed to be some expert on the game, thats why Brandy is there. Those 2 go great together

Cowell is rarely funny or witty. His list last night was lame and he knew it too.

I did like the part where they had their own footage of Shark Park. That was good.

I can see why Fox would want a Sharks fan on the show with how many Sharks games Fox has, but is he the best Sharkies fan they could come up with?

Where is the gold fish with the big eyes? At least he has a bit of energy.

The other bloke (saints fan) sitting next to the hot chick offers little.

I would give the show a C+

He's only there once every few weeks, James Matherson is usually there in his place and offers much more than him.

Cowell is usually very good, but last night was pretty poor. In fact last nights show as a whole was pretty poor (too much ripping into Tate for all his injuries).

I find the player interviews much more interesting than the generic player interviews you get on other RL shows (or sport shows in general).

Anyone have any word one whether the show is getting the green light for 2012?
I hope so, its a good fun show for the most part. I'd like to see it kept, maybe even get a bit 'bigger' with a house band or something?

I've really warmed to this show over the past couple months.

All panel members have found their place and bring something to the show, they actually ask real questions of the players who come on, and they don't just cycle through the same 6 guests every bloody week.

I also liked their handling of Carney's incident last week. Just made a few wise cracks about him being an idiot and left it at that. A breath of fresh air from the massive levels of hyperbole used in every other facet of the media where people were either calling for his execution or declaring him to be some sort of mental patient (instead of just being an idiot who likes to drink)

I like the show too. I am a bit over the tendency of TV commentators talking to fans like everything is technical and important. They always end up saying the same thing anyway and rarely hit the most important points. The average footy fan doesn't know the A defender from their A hole so what we get from the commentators is pretty simple analysis that is polished up to look like rocket science or something.

Most people like to watch the footy with a smile on their face and maybe a beer in hand and that's the vibe I get from this show. "The Footy Show" could have a look at they're take on the light hearted approach and maybe learn a little bit. Warren Smith sh!ts me though.

I like it for the most part but FMD James Matheson is the most unfunny bloke going around and knows nothing about footy. I'd rather see someone like Dell on there who can both have a joke and say something useful about football every now and then

Def.

I remember a few weeks back she said to a guest (forget who now i think a Knight) her dad was selling pokier machines post footy career and he (frogs eyes) knew the players dad and I got the impression they had played against each other
