Sorry Pommy. It's your calling in life! Remember he's a 'moderator'! Lube up. Remember both of you are deflecting for union so its a match made in heaven . A tad like the rugbyunion slogan!

I’m not deflecting I’m just trying to bring you back to reality, although it is now clear you’re about 98p short of a quid.

*Meanwhile at World Rugby HQ*

The other thing I find buzare is that only one sport actually moved from observer to full membership

These guys seem to be making up their process rules on the run

I know their role was to address Olympic sports

Sounds familiar! The " friends in high places " doing their sheepish and sly handy work slowing/controlling rugby league. It's real but not many are aware of this stuff going on against rugby league!

I think RU has a massive problem coming in NZ and the Pacific - Rugby league. The NRL are getting bigger and bigger, it will be one way traffic very soon.

Wish it were that easy! And I like your confidence. But union has been doing its utmost to minimise the groundswell attraction of rugbyleague for decades and its not like that code isnt still doing its tricks against rugby league.

Just keep the gimp happy Te Wanka! You and your cosy rugby union mates that you've no doubt impressed with your 'work' on a rugby league website.

Unfortunately unless a rather large public fallingout between the 2 codes happens I feel it will mostly stay quiet to the wider general public. The reason I say that is apart from someone writing more books about it, Rugby League could come across as childish and insecure if they publically tried to shame World Rugby and its history even if it’s true.

Does rugby league become the bigger person and continue on the path to world domination?

I'd appreciate it if you didn't refer to rugby union as "world rugby" . Rugby union is appropriate and correct. Remembering rugby league should not be regarded in name or stature as subservient to rugby union. The name of the sport reflects a certain inclination. Understand this may be innocent but it matters.

Point taken but my statements still stand.

It’s as if you crafted this post just to prove my point.

You grow dumber by the day. "World Rugby" is the registered trade marked name of the organisation.

Right after FIFA change their name to something ‘more accurate’
