my youth pull is my best so far. i'm just wondering what to do with him...

-------------------------------

Percy Harris (58113693)

19 years, passable form, healthy
A pleasant guy who is balanced and dishonest.
Has disastrous experience and passable leadership abilities.

Nationality: Oceania
Total Skill Index (TSI): 830

Stamina: weak Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: poor Passing: solid
Winger: passable Defending: wretched
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: wretched

I'm training playmaking...so ummmm yeh. I like that passing, but that playmaking suxs. Interesting. I'm selling one of my trainees in about 2 weeks, so I reckon he might be able to fill those shoes. If I sell him now I'll get between $40,000 - $100,000

i train playmaking every week vesh.

my side won our big 5th vs. 6th battle today 2-1, after being a goal down at half time. we were playing away, so I'm confident we can repeat today when next sunday at airbase road and maybe i'll get decent crowd for a change.

I thought I would do a very quick review of where the different teams from here are and how they are doing at the half-way point of the season:

CKA – 4th in V.96. 1st place looks to be beyond him, but 2nd, 3d and 4th are very close.

Hills Havoc – 7th in IV.61. Mambo’s semi-retirement sees the Havoc likely auto-demoted this season.

Dogs of War! – 1st in VI.843. Seven games = seven victories. Looks set to auto-promote to Div V.

Ernesto’s Strikeforce – 6th in V.124. Struggling along, getting out of danger looks to be beyond him. The only question is whether he’ll stay in 6th and get a qualifier to stay in Div V, or whether he’ll slip into 7th or 8th and get auto-demoted.

AFC Real Drexciya – 7th in V.130 (England). A few good results would see him get out of trouble, but at the moment they are looking likely to auto-demote.

Heathcote Harriers – 4th in V.209. The top three in this league have opened up a real gap between everyone else. At the moment Heathcote are the best of the rest, so the question is whether they can close the gap, hold their position, or slip down another spot or two.

Central Coast Falcons – 4th in V.56. First might be beyond him, but 2nd through to 5th are all close.

Avalon_Avengers – 6th in V.26. Like Ernesto, it looks like Avalon will finish either 6th, 7th or 8th.

West Dubbo Firebugs – 1st in VI.128. Maximum points, 30 goals scored with none conceded. It definitely looks like the Firebugs will be competing in Div V next season barring a monumental collapse.

The Berala Bulldogs Football Club – 2nd in IV.49. Dog-E faces an uphill battle to catch 1st, the more likely competition comes from trying to hold onto 2nd.

Piran Suns FC – 3rd in VI.71. Sitting in third, but only three points behind first. Can he make up the ground?

Sri Lanka Chuckerspinmen – 1st in VI.37. Yet another LU team that is sitting pretty in first. Six points ahead of 2nd, with the goal difference effectively making it 7 points, he should be coming on up to Div V next season.

Whenuapai United – 5th in V.228. A very close league, nibs is sitting in 5th but is only three points behind 1st. Anything could happen here.

Madtown Vikings – 3rd in VI.62. First place might be out of the question, but the rest of the top four are open for grabs.

Narraweena FC – 2nd in VI.46. Can they close the five point gap on 1st, or will they slip to 3rd?

Rockhampton Wolves – 1st in V.88. Five points ahead of 2nd, my Wolves are looking good to finally push their way into Div IV.

As you might be able to tell, I was a bit bored.

I'll give Avalon until tommorow 6 pm to accept my challenge, or else I'll accept a friendly with a different side. I really don't want to miss training.

Great post Mad Dogg... I drew with first last week but slipped this week. My newly bought players are finally hitting form and injured players are slowly creaping back into my side.

I'm aiming for 2nd, build up a squad which can compete in Div4 and hopefully promote next season

If Ernesto doesn't accept my challenge in the next couple of hours, I'll have to look to arrange another friendly. My U20 player and the other potential U20 player both played on Sunday so it's not quite as vital for me this week as it normally would be, but I still need that training. :!:

Edit: Ernesto literally accepted the challenge just as I was writing this.

And ain't that the truth!

I have absolute buckley's & none of catching the frontrunner in my series this season - he somehow demoted from III last season, boasts a combined $90MILLION+ worth of talent in his 3 x central midfielders alone...and pulls just obscene ratings without even trying, that make me want to hurl, scream and cry - all at the same time!!

Nice write-up MadDog - made for an interesting read! :)

Well the mighty Chuckerspinmen are continuing their amazing start to the season with a 7-1 demolition of Avalon Avengers!

My left side attack went up to passable (high) for that game as well

i reckon its dumb how there can be two goals in the same minute, or even say 3 in 3 minutes.
