I just got a message from my very hot secetary saying that this weeks training was wasted by conflict. Anyone know how to help me with this.
You played a 6-2-2 formation in your league game that week, which isn't a legal formation. Basically, you can't play more than three players in a position - central defender (which is what you did with four players there), inner mid or forward.
Definitely sell the youth pull if you're not training him. You won't get much for him, but it should set you on your way to be able to buy a better, older (read more experienced) player.
I've got two players on the transfer list at the moment. The first is a supernatural defender so I doubt anybody here can afford him (unless Dog-E is on the hunt for a new defender), but the second could be an interesting player for some of you.

Turner has a lot of sentimental meaning for my club, he was my first ever purchase just two days after I started playing hattrick over two years ago now (the only purchase I made in the first 4 months or so). For many seasons he was the rock which my midfield was built upon (he's capable of getting 4 stars when he's in high solid form), but over the last couple of seasons he's been slipping down the pecking order in my midfield. I really don't want to sell him, but I'm desperately trying to get the money together to buy the supernatural playmaker with passable passing that I know will be hitting the transfer list in the next couple of weeks.
