I won my last round match to grab second place in my first season in Div IV. And with a fairly weak team coming down from III, I may just be able to win the series next season. Especially now that I've bought another offensive CD trainee (20yo supernatural playmaker with solid defending). I massively overpaid for him for $12.3m, but he'll give me some real options in how I play.

My best friendly crowd was probably 5,134 when I played AFC Real Drexciya two seasons ago. Otherwise, I've got into the high 4,000's a few times. You really need to play overseas teams to get crowds like that, which is the one bad thing about being in the LU Cup against mostly Oceanian teams.

i am training defenders, should i sell them at excellent or not.... what im trying to say is what level should they get to before its worth selling them.
You should probably try to get them to at least formidable before selling, although it depends on how old they are and what time of the season they'll pop to the different levels (players sell for more earlier in the season).

$12.3mil! FFS M_D where did you get that kind of cash!

Good work in coming second mate, you really came home well after your bad start to the season. I won my league again but I'm not confident about promoting yet. I think I'm still a season away from really making a move.

I need some advise, from one def trainer to another. I want to buy a quality winger to strengthen my squad and I need to know what to look for. I'll probably have about £2mil to spend on him. What do you suggest?

If you are competitive, it probably wouldn't hurt to upgrade to 30,000. Have a look at your new Div and compare the Hatstats ratings. That will chew up about $1 million of your bank balance though.

How's your keeper? They help bolster your defence ratings and it's a good investment. It sounds like you are goijg to play a 3-5-2 next season and a lot of Div V teams tend to use middies on their wings. I personally think you lose too much with your attack ratings doing that. If you can afford to, get yourself a decent winger (don't worry about PM for him) and use a trainee on the other (you want passable winger, or inadequate and some passing).

Good luck in Season 15.

My keeper is solid and getting 3 and a half stars atm so I'm happy with him for the time being. I was thinking just the same thing with using a specialist winger offensively and a trainee on the other. Do you think that this winger would be good enough for the offensive spot (I've been using him for the past couple of seasons).

Yay I won my relegation match 3-0

I swear I'm close to relegation every year... I think my side just likes the extra training

my stadium looks crap. its like 4 big separate stands on each side.
but ive just forked out $1.6 mil to upgrade that existing layout of 20000 seats up 30000, and even then its apparently not enough for the size of my supporter base. i have 1428 supporters now. so thats good, and now i'm up into v.11, i think thats what it was, and looking at the teams there i think i should be able to stay there. although i really need to buy better players for around the rest of the park, other than midfield and keeper, the best i can normally do for those other players is about 3 stars, so i'll be looking to save up money and buy some excellent skilled players, winger, forward, defender, etc. over time obviously.

Steel City FC wats teams are in owned by people here at League Unlimited

If you go to the sticky hattrick thread there are a few lists of all the teams.

Would you like a spot in the next LU Cup? It would mean certain friendlies every week for at least 9 weeks (9 weeks guarenteed training for your trainees) but you have to turn up for matches, no pulling the pin on cup games. You'd be taking the spot of a few blokes that are unreliable, and I want to replace them with reliable hattrick players.

i trained stamina in the off season...

my training is updated, nearly everyone went up in stamina, one of my players went to formidable stamina, and my midfielder that i just bought is up to passable now !! i think i will do stamina training for one more week... and i just worked out that half my players TSI went up cause of the stamina training, which makes sense... im so stoopid sometimes....

and half my players form DID go down... but it will be worth it at the end, cause it will sooner or later go up, i hope

because of form going down... is it better to put the players in that have the better form (so the cup game) or just use the players that i want their form to go up ???

and is it worth playing my cup game as normal ??? will i have any chance ??? or should i PIC ???

thanks

now i studies the conferences a bit, and i'm pretty confident that youth pulls should not age this week. i wanted to wait until i was certain, because my players havent aged yet, and my cards etc havent been reset. i made a 18yo, solid defending youth pull today. i couldnt help myself, and it turned out ok, would have been so awesome if he was 17, but oh well. would have got atleast a mil i reckon for that.

ok so i hope this guy can sell for ok money, here he is.
