lol, my LU Cup match against Mambo had quite a busy ending. In the 88th minute one of the Hills Havoc players dived and got a yellow card (dirty cheaters ), and a bicycle kick almost resulted in the goal of the year. Then in the 90th minute we had a yellow card (his second, so he got sent off), a weather speciality, a goal, and another chance that was almost a goal.

Congrats on the good win Mambo, although I mantain that it only happened because both my inner mids left the field. ;-)

had a LU cup confidence boosting victory of vesh today. had a couple of the more experienced guys back in reserves this week. they were getting too comfortable in their first team roles! just had to shake em up a bit, so they produced the goods for a resounding victory.

sweet, whenuapai made is 4/4 today with an awesome 6-0 win over ernesto's strikeforce. this win keeps us top of the table, and from here on in who knows what might happen.

top work team.

hmmm, who won the first two LU Cups?

I:
II:
III: Heathcote Harriers
IV: Rockhampton Wolves

Two options there. You can ask Mad dogg or you can go fishing through the last 152 pages of this thread.

Thanks for the game Mad Dogg, was good to get back into the LU winners circle. Did your inner mids lose the plot or what!

Has anyone got the competition table? I want to know if I can still win this after my late start.

Took me ages to find the results (I didn't have them recorded, so had to search the thread), but here they are:

I: Rockhampton Wolves
II: Red and Green Machine
III: Heathcote Harriers
IV: Rockhampton Wolves

There was also a RLeague.com Cup before we started up here, which was won by Mambo's Hills Havoc.

I'll definitely save these results somewhere for next time.

got beaten last weekend when i played a PIC. lost 2-0 away. i knew it was gunna be risky, and there you go. so i'm equal first now. and i spose i should only PIC against really weak opposition. my midfield was poor (very high) to his wretched(low). so yeah.

ahh well its all good. and a learning experience

Sorry Mambo mistake on my part, deeply sorry for any training missed.

Apology accepted. But I'm still upset. I'm moving for Moises Rogers to make the national team by the age of 26 so I can sell him in two seasons and I just cannot afford to miss any training.

had a cool PIC 4 nil victory today. i've got about 1.2 mil in the bank. i'm thinking i want to get an excellent keeper who gets 4 stars. but i also need to expand my stadium. an extra 10000 seats is 1.6 or 1.7 i think, so i could wait till i have that much.

got a nice 3-0 victory against west dubbo.

sold 2 trainee strikers so my chances at the LU Cup have diminished. Will have to rely on midfield to dominate.
