hey does it take about the same amount of training for players to go up levels in stamina as it does for other skills??? i'm just thinking cause i need to improve stamina for my midfielders, and i spose everyone else.

and also if i finish second this season would i then be involved in a qualification match against a 5th or 6th placed div V team? well thats the way i read it, but obviously it could be different for the bottom division.

and one last thing. do players salaries go up (or down) in the offseason? and possible how much prize money could i expect for finishing 2nd? (or 3rd if i have an absolute shocker)

Stamina training is different in a couple of ways. Firstly, it only takes one or two weeks for a player to level up, and I have even heard of some going up two levels in one week. Secondly, it trains all players in the team, not just the ones who played that week. For that reason most people do their stamina training over the off-season, when they would normally only be able to train half of their trainees (due to only playing one game a week). The bad thing about stamina training is that it lowers form, especially if you do it for more than one week in a row.

Only the team who comes 1st gets a chance to promote. Half of them will promote automatically, with the other half playing a qualification match against a team that came 5th or 6th in Div V. It's worked out on how many points they finished the season with, the teams who picked up more points will go straight up. I've had a look at your league and the leader will promote automatically as long as he doesn't drop any points in the last two games.

Salaries do change in the off-season. Only the players who have had training will change significantly.

Poida, you were very unlucky not to win that last game. You beat him all over the park, would've got the win 4 times out of 5. You can work out prize money with this site: http://www.databased.at/hattrick/index.asp. Go to the tools option, and then bonuscalc. If you remain in 3rd, you'll get 45k prize money, 60k if you can get back up to 2nd. You can also include your supporter numbers and it'll tell you how much you'll get in supporter fees. It's a good site, you can also work out what size your arena should be, and how many economists you should have.

yeah i know it totally sucked not winning that game. my team was totally better, but he must have had a good tactic or something. if that makes a difference.
the most dissappointing thing for me was my formiddable left attack against his weak right defence, thats some sort of difference right there. and ahh well.
i'm up against the two bottom placed teams in the next two weeks, and this weekend especially is a local derby, which i won last time away 7-0! so i'm thinking with my much improved side i could win 10 nil or more! haha that'd be awesome. i hope someone upsets the 2nd placed team!

Wow, what happened to the good old easybeat Harriers? :lol: Got their second win in a row this week, this time against the previously undefeated Machine. The Holc vs Crew match didn't get played, and I haven't heard from either of the teams yet. I'm guessing that Crew sent the challenge and it wasn't accepted purely because he did get another friendly organised, while Holc didn't play at all. If I find out otherwise I'll edit the results and table.

I've found out that neither team sent the challenge for the Holc vs Crew match, so I'll edit the results now to show a 0-0 draw. The table will probably be fixed tomorrow since I have to go to work soon.
