"The referee gave five minutes of injury time and that's an insult to the game, to the players out there." - SAF

lol he must be kidding, 5 minutes was more than generous.

Very proud Leeds fan this morning. Been so frustrating the past few years watch all my mates talk about the Premier League when my team was in the Championship and now League One.

Played absolute rubbish. Fair play to Leeds, we wouldn't of scored of there was an extra 10 mins of injury time.

Should of had a pen though, but as its united at OT then we never get decisions. ;-)

I think we may play a more experienced team against city now. Some of the reserves are gonna have to work hard to get back into the team.

Still, 2 points behind Chelsea, still in the Champs league, semi final this week. Thats while being rubbish. When we start to play well... :)

That's gold! :lol::lol::lol::lol:

I respect you Bumble, because you've been hanging around the soccer forum forever while your team is two divisions down, but the rest of you Leeds f**kheads who have only popped out now you've beaten a big team in a cup tie, go crawl back up that f**king hole you all crawled out of.

I haven't seen the game, nor will I be going out of my way to hunt down a replay, but from accounts Leeds thoroughly deserved to win, so congratulations. My only comments are that: a) this sort of thing happens in cup competitions, it just sucks it was one of our big traditional rivals that pulled it off; b) not that it would have made much difference I suspect, but heck Sir Alex should have picked at least one experienced midfielder (e.g. Giggs, Scholes, Carrick); c) I secretly wouldn't mind too much if we were to bow out of the League Cup and Champions League as well and go full tilt for the League title. 4 straight and 19 titles overall trumps everything else as far as I'm concerned; d) Wayne Rooney needs a rest. He can't play every damn game in every competition without it coming back to bite him and the team later on.
