And in other news, United sponsor is going tits up...

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/fed-calls-on-banks-to-tide-over-aig-932148.html

I like this quote:
AIG shares lost 60 per cent of their value yesterday, on top of the 30 per cent slide on Friday.

Isn't the Glazer's debts with them too?

Under the terms of Glazer's financing, in the event that Glazer is unable to repay bondholders, majority control of Manchester United will pass to three New York hedge funds in August 2010. The three hedge funds are Citadel, Och-Ziff Capital Management Group and Perry Capital

Wasn't aware AIG were a bank anyway. Aren't they an insurance company?

United lost it when SAF subbed Giggs for Carrick
That cost us the opportunity of turning the tide, but Liverpool were on top long before that. I couldn't believe how badly we were playing, it's the worst we've played since the Man City match at Old Trafford last year. Playing a 442 with Rooney and Anderson on the wings was ridiculous.

Unfortunately Carrick will be out for 4-6 weeks with the dreaded metatursal break. Huge loss to us, most people don't notice him much but in reality he's our most important midfielder.

On the positive side, Ronaldo should be on the bench tonight against Villareal. We could certainly do with his impact.

Beat Boro 3-1 but this has ruined it:

What a disgusting tackle, Pogatetz is an absolute merkin. There isn't a ban long enough for a challenge like that, if you can call it a challenge.

Rodrigo out indefinitely, hope he can come back from this.

Hopefully Rodrigo is ok, he's one of the brightest stars in our reserves along with the Da Silva twins, Welbeck and of course Jonny Evans (perhaps not so much a reserve these days). I have high hopes that he can start breaking into the side this season. Hasn't been announced how bad it is yet, but the fact he had the oxygen mask on while being carried off the field certainly isn't a good sign.

Anyways, Ronaldo scored the first goal in his first start back, with Giggsy and Nani scoring the other two late in the match.

2 - 0 over Bolton (Ronnie penalty, then he set up Rooney for a great goal).

And Rodrigo could be back within 2 weeks, good way to end this week.

Ridders,

1 + 1 = 2. United scored 2 goals.

P.S. That was the first penalty we've been awarded this season, so I don't know how they "always get us home".

Did you actually watch the game? The game only opened up once Ronaldo won that penalty. Until then Bolton had done pretty well to frustrate Man U. Bolton couldn't buy any love from the ref all game.
