Holly Holm is the most accomplished boxer male or female in MMA today.

That's no joke...

But I'm not a fan of this fight at the moment... I think Holm is still far too early in her transition to MMA for a match up with Rousey...

I'd rather see Holm fight Tate & Zingano before fighting Rousey.

Haha I had the same multi, Hall into Nelson. Some decent cardio by Nelson would have got him that win, he was pretty close with almost no fitness

she's won every type of world boxing belt under the sun

the issue is the credibility of women's boxing.

no doubt she will be too strong for rhonda standing up, but 5 rounds staying off the ground is no chance of happening

Read my post. 18 defences does not = 19 TIMES world champion. Not doubting what she's done but ronda needs to get her terminology right

she has actually won 18 different world titles! go look it up, if you count defences, she's in the mid 20's

a couple of those world titles are kickboxing and mma, but that doesn't greatly diminish how illustrious her boxing achievements are.

anyway like i said it's irrelevant, holm is stronger standing up, she won't get knocked out by rousey, but not powerful enough to keep rousey at bay off the ground for 5 rounds where it will most probably end

If rhonda comes flying out, she will get knocked out, as Holly's stand up is far superior to anything Rousey has come up against before, this will probably be a slowish fight.

Going from WBC (for example) to win the WBA also does not make you 2 time....
But anyways, should be a good fight.

Like I said earlier... I don't like the fight for her this early in her MMA transition... But that's not to say I don't like her...

If this was 3 or 4 fights down the line for Holm then i would probably pick her to win in an upset.

She had the hands to shock everyone... I just don't know if she's well rounded enough to deal with Rondas judo and ground game...

But it's certainly not a forgone conclusion like all the casual fans are saying... It's anything but..
