Ronda was never winning that. Standing up against a champion kickboxer & champion boxer was stupid.

Will be interested to see why she didn't do the post fight ring interview. I suspect she fractured her jaw from the Holm elbow.

Judo doesn't make a fighter, judo and trying to box doesn't make a fighter. Rowsey will be hurting and deservedly so, that fight was epic

if anything ego cost rhonda that fight, she tried to out-box holly and really should have suck her pride and got the w getting her elbows dirty......i don't think she's capable of that sort of humality though at this stage of her career

otherwise it's back to the drawing board for rhonda's stand-up, it's an interesting situation for her with her situation with her boxing coach and her mum....where does she go from here?

I think that fight shows you how out of his depth Edmond Tarverdyan is as a trainer, Ronda's mum pointed that out a few weeks back, and many in the MMA community have said likewise. Here's a bloke who was a nobody, Ronda stumbled into his gym which was primary a boxing gym, she uses her grappling and beats everyone and people somehow start drinking Edmond's cool aid, you look at all the other fighters he's got and they're getting KO'd left right and centre. Problem is Edmond is trying to make a name for himself as a striking coach and has pumped up Ronda's striking so much she's bought into it. He was saying he she was beating up all these boxing world champions in the gym and how she could be a champion in boxing, I've got no doubt they were trying to make that point tonight and it backfired spectacularly.

Haven't heard about Andre Ward training ŵith him but Vic Darchinyan does, and has been getting KO'd for fun since joining that camp, he also trains Shayna Bazsler and Jessyman Duke who can't buy a win between them, Marina Shafir who's Ronda's best friend and someone Edmond said could potentially beat Cyborg has been getting KO'd by no names in Invicta, Jake Ellenberger and Travis Browne joined the team as title contenders and are now not even in the discussion anymore.

Now, Rowsey was well out of her depth and it showed. Trying to out box a boxing and kick boxing champion was never going to work. I won't take anything away from Rowseys previous fights but Holly Holm is a fighter, she can box, kick, grapple and has spent more time in the ring conditioning herself as a fighter. The same cannot be said for Ronda which is why I knew this would happen.

She'll have her work cut out for her if she's to become champion again.

Look at the camps as well, Holly Holm has two of the best coaches in the business in Jackson and Winklejohn. Greg Jackson is renowned as the best strategist in the game, Winklejohn is a world class striking coach, and you look at the the guys in that gym she's training with, they had her sparring Jon Jones in the lead up to the fight, you can't even begin to compare that to Edmond's backyard operation

Edmond hit the jackpot when Ronda walked into his gym. Without her he wouldn't be known at all in the mma game.
The thing that i will remember most about him is his epic dick tuck when Dennis Hallman called him out on TUF. He wanted no part of Hallman and he let Rousey fight his battle for him.
