One thing about Nick... He's durable as f**k...

People often overlook that durability in Nick Diaz game...

I don't think I've ever seen him hurt... Even in his losses he hasn't looked hurt.

But I remember Stefan Bonnar and Forrest Griffin being very durable before fighting Anderson also...

Yeah for some reason the Chris Leben destruction comes to mind for this fight. I know Diaz is really nothing like Leben in that he has a tonne of technical ability as opposed to lebens toughness. I just picture Leben wandering forward into silva and silvajust blasting him in the second and for some reason I see this happening to nick.

I think Anderson will be a 13-14 month layoff... Nick will be 22-23 month layoff.

Yeah for sure... Anderson's layoff would have been a lot different with that horrific leg break.

And as you said... Nick is a wild man so would be doing triathlons in between swimming to Alcatraz and back.

From a layoff perspective the match up is great... But the size difference is a worry.

Anderson is a big MW who could dominate at LHW... Nick is an average size welterweight.

Anderson coming back from a pretty severe injury plus he's an old man now, imo he will be a shadow of the fighter he was before. Just don't think he has the aura of invincibility he used to have, most fighters lost the fight before they got in the cage with him. Hope I'm wrong and he puts on a performance like he used to, but i think Nick has him here.
