Again this morning on Big Sports Breakfast, an e-mail launched into Sheens and Kennedy buts in and says: "He's the current Australian coach"

f**king unbelievable.

Insaneink sent that in. Waste of time personally...Teeeeekay has the backbone of an ant and would never criticise Teflon.
Same with the panel 2SM bar Tunks.....No doubt the likes of Hughes and his knob jockey side kick Gavin Robertson will defend him.

I'm convinced supercoach has compromising photos of them with underage children...it's the only explaination I can think of as to why they continue to defend him.

The greatest trick Tim Sheens ever played was convincing the Tiger's management he was a good coach.

For god's sake most teams would give their right arm for sheens !!
He has won 4 premierships (albeit 3 of which were won when Josh Dugan was wearing Huggies)
He is the current Australian coach
He was the first coach to take Penrith to a finals series (where they got into the top 5 after finishing 6th)
He has coached NSW to series wins
He was the first Rugby league identity to bring back the beard
He laid the foundation for the cowboys' success
He has also coached City in victories against the Hillbilly Hicks
I hear he also divided his time when playing prop for Penrith by selling real estate.

Given all of the above in the fact the man is of dubious character, old and sold dodgy real estate, surely Michael Searle can find a new home for him before he is packed off to a retirement village nar Waragamba Dam. I'll even shout the master coach a pair of white shoes so he blends in at Robina
Sure he won 3 titles at canberra, but he had a team full of origin and international players, who were later found to be over the cap,he has 1 finals appearance in the last 15 years.
He is way past his use by date and he stinks,Folkes or Browne should be taking over as we speak, but this will never happen.

The tigers rely far too heavily on certain players, not in attack, but rather in defence. Benji and Robbie are the show ponies that get all the accolades but the reality is that neither can really tackle...and there are about half a dozen other tigers in the same boat. Robert Lui, Chris Lawrence, Todd Payten all have massive issues in defence.

To counter this, the tigers rely on a few players to keep their defence solid, and at the centre of it, is the sauce head Keith Galloway. Sure, you've got the likes of Ellis, Heighingotn and fulton who pull of big tackles every now and again, but it's galloway who really cleans up their ruck and protects the likes of Farah (who failed in origin last year for a reason!!).

Whe Galloway's out, the tigers defence disappears. Teh same happened last year when he was injured........

They were never in yesterday's game....

As for their attack, people have never given tim Moltzen his due......Incredibly underrated. since his injury, their attack has been awful at best...

Please get your facts straight. They were over the cap for 1 of the premierships, and even then only over the cap because of bonuses paid in the event of rep selection. They miscalculated how many players would go on to win Australian and Origin selection. That's all.

Anyway, do continue. Sheens was a great coach in the late 80's/early 90's, but he should have retired after the Cowboys debacle.

Sheens his game plans are tactical and technical , the players are not executing them, it could be like with stuart he doesnt have the cattle to execute the plans

Don't forget - the leading contributor to the 89 premiership for Canberra was a G.McCallum whose square-up send off of Gary Larson presented a GF appearance on a platter.

But - I agree with all WTiger supporters. Must be hard to take.

All is not lost. We will lose a few more games over the next few weeks, re-group, play some nice fancy football, but ultimately leave our run too late again and finish 9th. Despite this failure, the spastics in the media will wax lyrical about our great coach despite his 1 in 15 record post 1996, and they will tell us all how great his tactics are when we go down the short side for the 15,864th time in the last match of 2010 when there is nothing to play for, which we will win by 30 points or more. The Tigers board will then give Sheens another two year extension citing his worth as the Australian coach and saying how his record is unmatched.

Then our coach and captain will tell the fans that they can't wait for next season and how our attitude is going to change and we will be a tougher, mentally stronger side in 2011.

I was really impressed with the Tigers when they rolled Parramatta easily earlier in the season.

Now I'm thinking it was just as much because of parramatta sh*tness as it was the tiges.

Of course, it's the players fault. Not Sheens' innovative tactical and technical tactics such as playing with 16 players, naming wingers on the bench, playing hookers at halfback and halfbacks at hooker, replacing props with hookers, second rowers etc. etc.

More excuses for the koala bear, keep them coming.

You do know that every player at the club is here because Tim Sheens wanted them, they've all been signed by him. So if he doesn't have the cattle to execute his plans (which is quite frankly the biggest load of sh*t I've ever read on here) then whose fault is that?

Can you just quote that in your sig so that you don't have to bother typing it out over and over again and people don't wrongly think you've made a new interesting post?

Lovfe it when people pull the "he hasn't got the cattle" excuse. He's been at the club longer than any of his current players, he's built this team and there can be no excuses, everyone (besides Melbourne) has to work under the same salary cap
