With the bottom 7 teams looking pretty soft (everyone from the Raiders down) I think it is going to make the battle for the top 4 even tougher than in past years, because teams in the running for it would seem less likely (based on current form) to drop many of their remaining games against teams lower on the ladder.

It makes next weeks game against the Roosters a crucial one. Hopefully we are up for it. The Roosters didn't look that good against the Knights, but Mitchell could cause havoc.

We havent got Kikau. But the Roosters dont have a Kikau either. Their pack have the reputations but not the form to back it up.

They have Boredner. We have Yeo who is better in every way. They have Napa. We have RCG who isn't pretending to be a tough guy. They have JWH. We have the younger superior version in JFH. Etc.

Their pack isnt shit. But it's definitely inferior to ours. They have a better backline with all of our injuries. But from 6 through 17 we have the edge.

What we want is for teams like the Eels and Cowboys to go on a run, since we don't have to play them. Either could be a serious nuisance from now on, but obviously they'd have to play better than last night.
