Not on your radio you cant.

In your car, in your boat, in your shed. The places where people might use a radio and not a computer.

answering a question with a question isn't an answer

why would you be out in your boat or in your shed on a Monday night?

because you want to be El D.

Plus plenty of people would be working where a radio is on.

so plenty of people go fishing on a boat or work in their sheds on a Monday night

get a laptop in your shed hooked up to a wireless router if you're that keen to polish your car or whatever

Ah, I thought it was a Roosters game. You've got a good memory, Patorick. Thanks. LOL when I saw Steve Carrall as the ref. I thought that was the same guy from The 40 Year Old Virgin.

They did that a few times. Cant believe they were allowed to get away with it.

Really? I was only aware of that one occasions, but didn't know it occurred multiple times.

he also started to call Swans games when he was at 2UE as part of his tanty when they lost the rights

He also called NSW Waratah matches. I remember one time he called alongside David Campese and Campo had to explain all the rules during the broadcast as Hadley was uncertain of some. Seems like Hadley's knowledge of Union hasn't expanded, as was seen from his 2011 RWC Semi Final call.

The mobile Internet age where every phone is smart and connected is virtually here. We're in a rapid transition phase right now. If you want to listen to an Internet radio stream in your car or boat you'll just play it on your iPhone or Android or whatever. But it goes a lot further beyond that. Don't be surprised when all broadcast television and radio is ultimately abandoned in favour of Internet streaming delivery over fibre and wireless mobile networks...

House of Lords wants UK TV to go fully online and leave airwaves clear for cellphones.

what happens to people out in their tractors on a Monday night?

Well, in fairness to whoever was talking about tractors on a Monday night, MNF during the first few rounds of the comp (before daylight savings commences) kicks off during daylight hours on the east coast (and at 4pm in Western Australia), with twilight finishing at close to 8pm. So, it is possible that person could be on his tractor by then (especially if he's one of the sandgroppers from the west).

It will take a lot of convincing to move from battery powered radios to streaming android devices when it comes to simple radio.

Why would you complicate something so simple for basically sfa of a reward for the complication. I'll take the radio for a battery life of months and simple reliability. I'll stream it when I need to as well - but one is not going to replace the other.

depending on the work being done and the time of year it is nothing at all for machinery to be used 24 hours a day.
