Organise a cricket match (Eels players and or members v Local Indians) following by BBQ/membership drive at Kings Oval. Tour of stadium to follow.

Maybe you could have a competition amongst the first grade squad. Split them into two groups and put one in charge of recruiting new Indians members by any means necessary and the other group in charge of recruiting chinese members give them a budget of $100k each and the winning group at the end gets to a weekend in Kiama.
Also, how great is Dylan Brown.

Not sure if you’d want the brains trust if the first grade squad to be in charge of any of the marketing.

Also, a weekend in Kiama? Going top shelf there mate.

Me too.

Just highlighting that anyone can look good at 6 with the way the rest of our team is playing.

I wouldn’t say anyone...but a player with some talent at the position certainly would. Big test for him coming up against a very good pack.

Does Brown have a good cut out pass? I consider it an essential skill for an expensive five eight/passer these days. Hayne and Kayln Ponga had/have great vision and skill to get a long pass to a winger. I'd like to see that before I go top dollar with him.

@Soren Lorenson is about to call Mennings. Maybe he can arrange this ?

Ok so firstly Michael reckons this is his last contracted year. He said even Parra wouldn't have offered him a 3 plus 2 contract.
On the cutout passes, he said that they are overrated and if the winger wants to get his hands on the ball before the centre, then the winger should play centre.

Oh and he reckons the club will fine Peni $25000 (!!) and give him time already served.

To be fair to me the cut out isnt the essential element it is the winger having space. So do a face ball cutting out centre if thats whats needed or if there is no centre there to be cut out still throw it. I think I am losing it.

Just passing on what I was told @T-Boon. FWIW I love a good cut out pass. They are a thing of beauty.
