I agree and I hope Arthur gets up him for not passing. Little things like that can make or break a game

If he had a fullback around his size in front of him I think he would've passed but he had Barba and carried him 5 metres. He backed himself against a smaller guy

Part of me loves that he backed himself and part of me thought...that could've ended badly.

i'm the same .... i like that he's got the confidence to back himself - our players have been kinda timid in recent years with little confidence ... there was risk in trying to pass also - maybe he took the right option???

Yep it was the right option as he scored, but if he didn't ( and they did get him to the ground) and we lost by six, we would have thread on here delicated to semis f**k up.

Well it's the second time he's done that, he really should have passed outside to Tonga in the Warriors? game, but he backed himself and scored (dubiously) but he backed himself last night and he was right to do so. Like others I like the way he does that gee he's developed a great fend... Barba had about 5 grabs at him.

Did anyone hear Hadley mention that radradra sleeps/slept on the floor here in Australia because he felt bad that his family in Fiji don't have beds.

f**k I love a feel good story.

I see what you guys are saying about Semi maybe screwing it up, but couldn't the same be said about Hayne's try? Hayne backed himself and scored, but he could just as easily have passed to his men on the outside.

At the end of the day, Semi [rightfully] backs himself, and he's a joy to watch.

hayne's outside men were covered ... only reason that try was scored was cos hayne ran it and left his man for dead .... not a good comparison

Agree , Semi had I think it was Tonga on the outside and Norman on the inside fairly unmarked , even if he passes to them then backs up , he makes a bird or the try.
OR , he just runs over the top of Barba like a semi on a speed bump!
Great he got there , but could've been a heartbreaker

I don't think that's the best analogy... it was Hayne putting the step on that created the whole in the first place.

Anyone notice Norman give Semi a gobfull after he scored?

I'm no lip reader but it looked like he said something like 'f**king look up semi!'

I like it that semi backed himself but when I was playing f grade league my coach always told us never put the ball down with one hand or back yourself when there was an unmarked man on either side of you. If you did, well enjoy the flogging at training on the Tuesday.

Hayne puts the ball down with one hand every try he scores, I wonder if he cops a flogging at training because of it. Having the ability to do a one handed put-down is basically a requirement of a modern day winger.

Yeah yeah you know what I mean - one hand when there is no other option is different. God, sorry Hayne can do whatever he wants

Correct. But the first bit was he's sleeping on the floor as well. I replayed that part again, to make out what that moron was saying.
