I never got why people didn't appreciate Maroubra's humour? He didn't seem offensive in the slightest, and was one of the highlights of the forum.

He was actually very offensive. And really didn't seem to contribute much to the football talk. I don't think he knew much about it, actually. Pou could be offensive, sure - but at least he knew as much about football as most of us and was a lot wittier and funnier than that other dick.

pou used to really get my goat ... but over time I think I probably stopped taking this site so seriously and came to accept how cool what he contributed here was .... I miss him
