I like how no one questions Darren Lockyer's position at the club. Isn't he on the recruitment and retention committee?

Why would the majority here question it?

The more Broncos legends not named Bennett in key positions the better.

The media on the other hand...

I was so used to Walters being a boob as a Fox commentator, I felt his appointment as coach of the Broncos was an act of desperation by that Club. Now I just feel just a little bit sorry for him. He gives his players almighty sprays, unfortunately for him it reminds me of the line from Andrew Dice Clay in The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, ”Like masturbating with a cheese grater. Slightly amusing but mostly painful.”

Just when you think this story has completed all turns, we missed the oh so obvious turn ahead.

Brisbane Player Revolt

Kevin Walters is facing a revolt as Broncos coach, with a bombshell report suggesting players are off-side with the club legend’s man management. The Courier Mailclaims that players are increasingly frustrated with Walters’ coaching style after a difficult start to his NRL coaching tenure. Walters replaced Anthony Seibold at the back end of 2020, but the return of the former premiership winning playmaker hasn’t seen the Broncos jump out of the doldrums. The bloodletting has already begun at Red Hill, with performance boss Andrew Croll and football manager Peter Nolan moved on. “I don’t know where I sit on this. I don’t know what to believe and what’s true and what’s not,” said Fox League’s Cooper Cronk. “This is obviously the first year of Kevvie’s coaching career. Brisbane’s performances have been OK, but they’ve been purely on emotion. “It’s all on emotion and when they play poorly there’s nothing there in terms of technical, effort and a few other areas. I’m not sure where this sits. “I think the reason that the reason for bringing Kevvie back would bring the unity of the Broncos back together again. “The few names contributing to the story are players that are on the so-called outer. I think Kevvie’s safe for the time being but he needs to get the Broncos playing a better style of football.”

I guess the Broncos pashun just isn't enough.

Walters is doing a pretty good job. He's getting rid of the dickheads, which is a step in the right direction.

No one would want to play alongside a nutter like Lodge.

How can his team mates respect the jersey and role their sleeves up when he's wearing it and was part of the leadership group?

It's no coincidence the rot crept in not long after Bennett brought the thug into the squad.
