If you want a good read head on over to BHQ and read about it there, the nepotism theories are unreal. Sadly the fact of the matter is that Billy is the best 9 the club has got until Blake Mozer gets a bit of experience and it's not exactly the easiest position to fill.

That forum exploded, you got people calling Cobbo a flog, people calling for Kevvie's head, never met a more emotionally unstable bunch of fans.

I don't see the club as the ruler of all NRL clubs, we don't deserve anything more than any other club in the NRL. Some of the fans on that forum expect us to have full rights to any coach, any player, etc. We have a bad loss and suddenly half the team should be playing QLD Cup, people on there just can't grasp the idea of development and that they don't all come into the NRL like Darren Lockyer did. Some wanted Kevvie out in 2021 (we got the spoon in 2020 under Seibold), it's just a series of unrealistic expectations for a club that was in the position that we were in.

Just on Selwyn, it has come out and that he walked out on the team when they were getting pumped, suddenly this turns into a thing about Kevvie being a shit coach to a thing about Selwyn being a shit team man. I noticed in that interview they were enjoying a few beverages, I hope it was more than a few for him to say some of the shit he was saying.

My take, the Broncos have not been the powerhouse on the field as they have previously because of a couple of things. Bennett laying land mines, Seibold being a moron and the reduction in some off field support. The young players also seemed to have ego issues believing the press on how good they were as individuals.
Kevvie was absolutely the right player to bring in. Gradually the attitude changed. Unfortunately idiots like Cobo still believed the press that he was a great player, he has done sweet F all.
Whether or not Walters is a great coach, he is the right person to turn it around and he needs support to get rid of the dickheads.
He could send them to the riff, they seem to be the only club with a DH polisy

I suspect they probably agree with Cobbo which is why they only offered him a 1 year extension. Barring some miracle and the Broncos winning the premiership, I don’t think the Broncos resign him.
