Mitch who?

That was the best 2nd half of the season by far. Pretty much everyone stood up. Sharks werent making many errors like Manly and Cowboys did when we beat those teams. They were just unable to do anything. Great to see Vaimauga have a statement game. His confidence will be through the roof, which is great for the team.

Young blokes really stood up.

Healy was sharp and offered something different to Wade
Laban's first half had some great runs and showed he has more to his game than we've seen so far in first grade.
Leka does have some quiet patches but looks totally at home.
Vaimauga's best game in the jersey by far. He was fearsome in attack and on D and a lovely soft touch for a try assist.
TSS does not look out of place either in limited minutes.

I will say though the on field leadership of blokes like Fish, Capewwll, CNK and Roger all help to make this happen.

Best second half this year!!

Starting to see what all the hype has been about this NSW crop of young forwards in the NRL now.

This is their time. They have landed. There are a couple of boys in cup still to come who might even be better....as crazy as that sounds....Kaylis Fatialofa and Toby Crosby have Leka pace and power....footwork too.

We are sitting on a diamond mine of forwards

But tonight was for the young guns who played with so much courage against a well known pack of thugs.

Think Laban needs to watch his running style. He lifts his knees just before impact. Alrady been pinged once before. It’ll happen afain.

Travelling so haven’t seen this yet, but WOW!!!
Neither, I got locked into the Blues Chiefs game at my in-laws. Avoided the score until bed time when a mate messaged 'Up the Wahs' on Whatsapp. My mates never give a shit about the Warriors! Ah well, bloody nice surprise and enjoyed the highlights this morning

This is arguably the time in our history where we have been the best as a team, from 1-17 and beyond. No obvious superstars, just 13 blokes on field and the rest of them working bloody hard for the guy next to them. Unreal.

We're not missing Barnett (yet) because Jackson Ford has transformed into a 150m, 40 tackle battleaxe in the middle. No doubt we miss Barnett's leadership but man it's impressive what Ford is doing. Then Vaimauga steps up and plays his best game for our club against a pack that bills itself as the big dogs of the comp.

Bye next week, 14 days off to refresh to play the Pennies at home. Bring it on

Demetric has really stepped up. I thought last week was his break out game and he was brilliant yesterday. Ford also lifted and r chased and defended so hard
