Can people knock off criticising him over his plan. Penrith were a total shitshow when he took on the job. Since his arrival they have no financial worries, are well managed, have successful junior clubs and have been competitive besides 2012. They mightn’t have won the premiership but they are now constant visitors to the semi finals. Vast on field improvement from 2005-2010.

Anyways, back on track...

2016 was a soft competition (his team can't even win a competition).

More information "genius"..........
So you don't want your fatboy to have ambitions of your team winning the competition in 5 years?

That's Dragons' board level of apathy lmfao

He didn't lay claim to a premiership. He said he wanted the club financially sustainable and performing on and off the field. How much of the financial turn around is due to him or the CEO/Panthers League club management is debatable. On the field they haven't really improved massively and their coaching merry go round borders on farcical. Their fanbase hasn't shown any signs of significant growth, the stadium hasn't been improved but the corporate support has certainly been turned around. End of day not winning a premiership wont kill the club but not having any money will, and on this front the Panthers have certainly turned around their performance.

We went from a bottom 8 team to consistent top 8. I'd say that's improvement.

You got some consistency in last 3 seasons of Gus's 8 year reign! Shame he sacked the only coach that has got you there and repalced him with a coach that only got you there once in 4 years!

They've gone from being patchy in the finals to making it 4 out of the last five years. The last three they have made it past week one also, so they're not just also-rans anymore.

And they renovated the Western Stand of the stadium a few years back.
