ā€¦and shock horror, most mentally Ill or depressed people arenā€™t criminals anyway.

How many times can a post be wrong?!

Its not smarter to assume, you actually need a lobotomy to follow this mindless logic.

I didn't say they were. It's irrelevant to the point I made. Most heterosexuals aren't criminals either, but I'm not stupid enough to pretend that's your claim.

ā€œIt would be smarter to assume their crime rates are higherā€

No it wouldnā€™t.

Youā€™ve just made that up.

Well it's obviously an opinion, and unlike your opinion (the null hypothesis of mine), I have supported it with facts and logic.

As for what is and isn't 'just made up', all these .org sites that tell you what you want to hear are also chock full of opinions, and particularly opinions by some fanatically broken and vindictive people. Take them all with a grain of salt, much like you would take the opinion of me, somebody who gets paid a lot more than those .org merkins to have an informed opinion. I also don't have an agenda here, so I'm likely to be more objective. As I said, I wouldn't be surprised if your opinion (that heterosexuals have a higher crime rate than 'everyone else') was correct. You just haven't provided any evidence for it (which doesn't mean it's not out there) while there is some obvious evidence against it.

No you havenā€™t, but given that you wonā€™t open your mind to the profound errors in your position, thereā€™s no point engaging further in this debate.

People can consider your claim, my objections to it and make their own minds up.

No it's to out of focus. I feel like Inhave the best Avatar

Blame @Gary Gutful, Iā€™m stuck with it now until he grants me a release.

I suppose I could appeal to @Gronk for a release, but Iā€™ve kind of got to know gronky since we had an argument about Finland and Iā€™ve learned you have to pick your time to approach him. You donā€™t really just want to beg for the favour, he doesnā€™t like that.

I like your avatar.

I hope you are affording the rate rises ok. We are living on dog food. The kids are woofing in their dreams.

Yes I have. After you posted your unsupported opinion that heterosexuals are more likely to commit crime than 'everyone else', I said it's smarter to assume that they were less likely to commit crime. I supported it with these facts:

1.
"Research has shown that LGBTIQ+ Australians experience higher rates of mental illness and distress than those that are not sex, gender or sexuality diverse."

2.
"Results suggest that almost half of detainees may have a diagnosable mental disorder at the time of arrest, including 42 percent of women and 28 percent of men with no previous diagnosis."

This doesn't mean gay = criminal, but it does at least discredit your claim that us filthy breeders are more likely to commit crime than LGBTIQ+ Australians.

It does nothing of the sort.

Itā€™s working the other around, you just canā€™t see it.

Iā€™ll take it up tomorrow, the whole house has crashed and Iā€™ve got to work in the am.

I can just make out Teddy Bondage in the corner, eyes glowing red.

If it makes you feel better I will concede that people with mental illness are more likely to become victims of crime. And I bet you're happy not to demand proof of that little factoid.

Mines locked in until Dec 2024 so Jan 25 is when I will get hit. I'm lucky.
I'm reading another 0.75% rise over next 3-4mths. I think this will finish a lot of people tbh. A lot of people in Sydney with 600k loans. Basically another $90 a week. People talk about high interest rates in the 90s and early 2000s. And yes I had my first home then and was paying 7% but difference was my house then cost 280k. Now the same place is about 800k so these tiny rate rises are huge in scheme of things.
Yes wages have probably doubled on face value. But tax rates means not doubled in your pocket. I'd say if had $800 then you'd be getting about $1400 now.
Things like a pie or beer have trippled in price since then. Petrols trippled. General fruit, vege and meat.

Plus we have added expenses. Phones, internet for example.
Can't even see a doctor now for free or do a Tafe course. All this mess just creates a bigger divide between rich and poor.

Rich who own properties aren't hurting. They are jacking rents up and having even more disposable income. It is going to get wild in about 6mths I feel.
