It's fine. I never felt like you where. And I also am glad you had a good time and felt happy. As I said I live in the inner west. My gay friends say they are sick of it so to me it's an interesting perspectives to why they are.
I don't care a whole lot. I kind of think its a bit boring and over the top. But I'm a bit boring also.

Ive not inferred that you were homophobic at any stage, yet i see that you have claimed that allegation on a few occasions. I also see that you have attempted on many occasions to play down the significance and popularity of mardi gras and world pride, notwithstanding the obvious support in Sydney right now.

What I don’t get is that if you have no interest, then STFU. It’s like the soccer womens world cup, there will be many that don’t care and many who do. If you don’t or do, who gives a shit ? If you are in the do or don’t camp who gives a shit ? Just don’t jump on to the soccer thread and start telling soccer people or even people who know soccer people that nobody cares about soccer.

"No interest" actually means that they don't like all these new fashions being pushed on us. Women's soccer, world pride, Kony 2012, etc. Some things are just so stupid that they are inherently offensive. If you push them as a point of morality you will get pushback. Don't pretend you're a better person than me when all you're doing is trying to make yourself look good. I don't want to be part of your morality Ponzi scheme.

So I live in Darlo and look over Oxford St from my balcony with my girlfriend and son. I’m a bit too old for all the partying and stuff, but for those who don’t know or haven’t experienced it, the last 2 weeks have been so good around here. There has been a genuine buzz around the place and everyone is happy and enjoying life. Yes some of it is because of alcohol and drugs, but I’ll tell you what there is none of… idiot blokes full of piss wanting to punch on with everyone.

I was being cheekie. I was privileged to be able to work for myself from a very young age knowing if I didn't get work I had a place to live and food to eat. I wasn't better then anyone. I just had the chance to afford my risks. I would of been silly not to take them.
You will also be advantaged by the crowd you keep. Smart people with wealthy friends equals more opportunities.
