Maybe not here but itā€™s happened. Didnā€™t some wedding cake shop get sued because they refused to make a cake for a gay couple?
Yes, I did read that a cake shop breached anti-discrimination laws - laws which existed well prior to recognising gay marriage under the law.

But I don't think anyone has forced a church to preside over a gay wedding against that church's own religious belief - here or anywhere?

But did they actually succeed in forcing a church to preside over a marriage ceremony in conflict to that church's beliefs?

Well yes, stupid to try and pursue a gay marriage within a Christian church that doesn't believe it. Just find a church that does believe in it (I understand there are some), or go down the civil celebrant route under the law.

Fair enough, I can see you post was that you disagreed with the idea of forcing churches to recognise them... not that it had actually successfully happened (as these few unsuccessful examples are evidence).
