The Punk/Hardcore/Emo/Ska Show Thread

So last night was pretty good, despite the best efforts of the sound guy to f**k it up. NUFAN first, Frenzal second but both played for the same amount of time.

For NUFAN, the sound guy decided that the bass needed to overpower everything and the guitars should only be barely audible, despite that I really enjoyed their show and personally think they were far, far better than Frenzal (who had the instrument levels right but the sound guy decided we didn't really need to hear Jay's voice).

Frenzal were ok whenever they shut up and actually played music, but something about their show just seemed a little off to me. Whatever the reason I didn't enjoy them as much as I thought I would.

Frenzal have a very fun live show but NUFAN r just such a complete band. They r great live! Not taking anything away from the rhomb but no use r a much more complete band imo

Yeah bar a few songs im not a big fan of NUFAN. Although from what Skeepe says NUFAN were better on the night, bands have off nights all the time so not that surprising.

Earlier this year we lost our best mate. Rod Hore or as he was better known "ITCHY RAT" August 7th is his birthday so we are going to have acelebration for the RAT. There are 5 of the best hardcore/punk bands in Australia helping us out so get along and support not only the RAT but also the BLACK DOG INSTITUTE! Tickets are only $25 .. Please get along and show your support. Hardcore legends TOE TO TOE are headlining so dont miss out on this night! Also playing the night will be HOMEWARD BOUND, RELENTLESS, THE RAMSHACKLE ARMY and FREQUENCIES.
There is going to be some awesome raffles , auctions and doors prizes on the night... maybe even some suprises for everyone
