All masch did was say 'whats happening? aye? whats happening?' in relation to why torres was carded (which was ridiculous considering he was the one that was hacked 2-3 times). Do you seriously think thats worth a 2nd yellow in such an important game? Yes he behaved like the stupidist f**k in the history of argentinian twinkies after he was sent off, but to be sent off after asking a simple question with no abusive languae or anger.......that is hard to take.

well f**k a duck that was depressing. No other description for it.
Watched it at a club in town with mates, after the third goal just calmly walked to the toilet for a piss and had a massive yell, as is deserved in the situations.

We did not deserve to lose 3 - 0, against the best team in the world currently with 10 men for so long to concede those 2 goals after keeping them out for an age was a bit devo.
Sad thing is before mascherano decided to act like an absolute f**king muppet and get a second yellow (well more like before the first goal but it was compounded by the red) we were playing ok considering ou know its a match vs the mancs. that happens our struture is f**ked our game is gone. We tried hard and it was nice to see some anger from rafa for once but it isnt good enough, not even close.
I would great appreciate anyone stabbing ronaldo in the eyes after he scored that goal.
Reina lets us down with his set piece play, cos he is one of the best shot stoppers aorund.

Our problems are largely mental. Its been so long i dont think there is any belief left that we can beat that scum from salford.

How delusional. Your mob could have been down 4 zip at the break if we took our chances.

That was the worst refereeing performance I have ever seen. Never in the history of the sport has what Mascherano did been a sending off, and never again in the history of the sport will it be. Totally ruined any chance of Liverpool winning. An absolute f**king joke.

And Dogaholic you don't need to take the words of other people... you can see it with your own two f**king eyes you biased f**k. All he said was "what's happening". You don't need to be a lip reader to figure it out.

Mascherano shouldn't have received the first yellow card, it was his first foul and he had his studs down when contacting Scholes i think it was.

No, that was a ref falling for Alex Ferguson's f*cked up mind games with match officials. It's got to stop. He has a go at the refs all week in the lead up and makes them feel abliged to be nice to his precious little team and his precious little Ronaldo, Mr Untouchable.

And Vossy, you're new round these parts, just another bandwagoner I see.

nah been a man utd supporter since my brother got me hooked on them back in 97..just new to these forums..well posting anyway..

and the ref carded him because of what ashley cole did in a previous game...refs demanding more respect from players, the way they carry on is unbelievable...

masherano just pathetic the way he carried on..of course he was going to get booked..

lol, it was an obvious yellow. He slid straight through the front of Scholes and could've broken his ankles. The fact that he had his studs down saved it from being a straight red. Then he started to run away while the ref was trying to book him, and proceeded to tell the ref to f*ck off a few times. Then he spent the next 15 minutes constantly running to the ref and annoying him about every decision, until Bennett finally had enough. You could see Bennett motion to the tunnel before he red-carded him, letting him know that if he kept going he'd be off.

I'll be the first to admit Rooney normally does the same thing, but after all the hype of the last week it took an idiot not to know they'd be clamping down on it. Notice that Rooney said almost nothing to the refs today, even after they didn't give him the penalty early in the game when he should've got one. Speaking about that incident, that is why players go down easily. Rooney was clearly fouled, but manage to stumble along and toe-poke the ball towards goal - an easy save for Reina. Because he'd done everything he could to stay up the ref didn't give a penalty, even though he was clearly fouled and disadvantaged. And they wonder why players go down like they've been shot anytime they've been fouled.

Aside from his goal, did Ronaldo do anything of note or just go missing again?
He had a fairly quiet one, but still scored a goal and had two other good chances (one he thought he was offside so it was only a half-arsed finish).

That's the difference between Ronaldo now and what he was like last season. Even when he's not playing very well he'll invariably score or set up a goal scoring chance for someone else. He did the same against Liverpool early in the season - had a quiet game until he created a bit of magic to put Rooney in for the only clear goal-scoring opportunity from open play in the match.

I heard earlier that Ronaldo is now on course to score against every Premier League team in the league this season bar one (can't remember who). He also hasn't scored against Chelsea and Boro yet, but only played them once so far so he'll get another chance on the run-in. I believe his 34 goals this season puts him behind only Ruud (43 or 44) and Law (46) as the most amount of goals in a season for us. And he's still got plenty of games to go. He's a winger. *shakes head in disbelief*

I'll give you a hint.

They're the only team in Manchester.
They took six points off you.
They are a massive club.

Aah bugger. I guess we have to give you something to cheer for occasionally.

Did you put out any commemorative mugs about doing the double over us this year? ;)
