The Ricky Stuart myth

Agreed, he has told a dozen to look elsewhere and how many have been signed by another NRL club? None of the 15 other coaches in the NRL see anything in his players either. Without a doubt the worst squad since the turn of the century.

Hasn't Reni signed with the dogs?

Seriously, just send the entire first grade side to play in the Holden Cup.

They're 14th and lost their last 5 games too

Another Saturday night. Another appearance by the same death riding tards.
Another Shark fan blaming the Zappia farce and the Johns gang bang scandal on Stuart's coaching.

Yawn.

I disagree Doggo. What I saw were 17 players who refused to follow a supercoach's excellent game plan.

I must give loudstrat credit here, as delusional as he is, at least he
truely believes the utter nonsense he speaks.

Parra don't give a f**k anymore.
They get flogged every week.
It is not like these blokes have never played footy before.
Good coaches get shit teams to make it a contest at least.

You and I should stick together ol' mate, pair of old timers who are devout minority groupies. I will never be convinced Melbourne players would have left if they weren't paid overs and you won't be deterred from worshipping at the House of Stick . . . f**k the non believers

The gang bang issue was unimportant

Your club has not recruited wisely in players or coaching staff

The role of the coach is to achieve the best results with the squad he has at any point in time through improvement

I do not see improvement at parra

When Ricky left Easts they were not an improved squad than when he inherited them

Ditto at the sharks

His record is ultimately the same as national and state coach

You seem to be saying a coach cannot have the effect of engineering improvement

That only recruitment can produce improvement

That Ricky needs outside players coached by others to make an improvement

Many coaches have inherited a poor squad and made improvement with what they have

Ricky has never achieved this

Whilst I'm not sold on Stuart as a coach, what coach in the last 20 years has left a team on a high note and the incoming coach has maintained or improved them?

Murray Bennett hasler off the top of my head

In saying that Good coaches tend to be held on to by clubs

It's fair to say neither Easts nor the sharks were slitting their wrists at the prospect of Ricky moving on

Grasping at straws will only burn you ol' mate, better to praise Ricky for his extraordinary humanitarian work and dedication as a father than claim him a Dog . . . where are you AG
Cant agree with you more with that comment, its just that Parra fans deserve better, 17k fans turn up to last night, dismal.
As a coach he appears out of touch, but behind all the footy, he is under plenty of pressure, the likes of most would never comprahend

Murray yes
How have the broncos fared post bennet?
Add the dragons to that.
That's 1 coach you've identified in the last 20 years
Like I said I'm no Stuart fan but no coach leaves a winning club

Tricky Ricky is not a leader of men, instead of uniting the team he has to work with all he has done is divide the team.

?????

I don't know what point you are trying to make?

If a team improves post Stuart then that is not exactly a vindication of Stuart

In fact it is the opposite

Millers he was given that team to mould into a better team, when they first won their first match against the Warriors the sky was the limit for Ricky and the team, suddenly the team is playing poorly and all he has done instead of uniting them together he has divided them...Would a good coach go out in public and say that 8 or so players are not wanted for next years season and still continue to play them in first Grade..

It was only about 11k. I was standing out the front of the ground for about 20min waiting for a mate and about half the people that walked past were Manly fans. No doubt lots of Parra fans got there earlier but still a large contingent of away fans making the Parra numbers extremely unimpressive.
