definately had his best form when he looked like something out of a latino gangster rap video and hit his best form in that 02/04 period where he won all sorts of rep jumpers ...

he played in tests, origins, grand finals ... world club challenge games ... achieved everything possible at easts ... then the dreaded move to souffs and he went down quicker than paris hilton infront of a night vision video camera and achieved duck egg with souths ...

Ahh TT I was at the ground too when Hegs scored against Canberra. Was about 30 of us Roosters fans surrounding a Raider fan (eventually arrested), fun times.

It's sad to see him drop, good luck to his next chapter.

i can never forgive hegerty for his clapping in the 03 grand final, which allowed el masri to score, the clapper and souffs deserved each other.

it really does go to show what souffs do to a player, at Easts, international,origin and grand final winner, then a reserve grade palooka at souffs, they certainly have a way with talent do the bunnies

As I said in the Souths forum, Wing's start at Souths was wrecked by one Riley Brown, for whom karma has since caught up with. As for Hegs, he was well on the slide at the Roosters and his last year there in 2004 was atrocious, thats why you let him go. Using your logic the same could be said about Mason, O'Meley, Anasta etc who have all gone down hill since joining the Roosters.
