Surprise surprise. B. Smith's last NRL coaching gig. Last year it was the speed of the play the ball and mess in the ruck. What's the excuse this year?

Same could be said for Saints and Brisbane. Don't believe in kicking a dog when it's down (unless it's Inglis).

Well to be fair, Mitchell Pearce and Braith Anasta.

Woeful would be an upgrade on our pea hearts. Boyd Cordner and Aiden Guerra the only exceptions.

They're just the typical young side really.

Can't get a roll on and constantly shooting themselves in the foot.

2012 has been a total write off but they've got some great players coming through who could very well be stars in 2013 or 14.

Brian Smith.

Our current predicament is directly related to his legacy. Easts look like we did under him in his last years. Players to scared to chance their arm - players wanting to leave - players playing like shot ducks. I wonder how much of Carney's crap 2010 was due to Brian Smith?

Trying to deflect attention, eh Bretto?

From the Broncos? The game against the Titans was the worst I've seen the Broncos play in years. The week before they were good against the Warriors, and we're still 4th on the ladder.

Some of the play I've seen from the Roosters is the worst I've seen from any team in years. Some of their defence is laughable, worse than U20's, and Mitchell Pearce is actually worse than Peter Wallace.

Problem is our management has been making this same "young side, rebuilding year" speech every season since 2005 without ever actually delivering on it.

Most teams in the NRL are young these days. Ours is the youngest, sure, but youth is not hte problem. The most diabolical spine in the league is

For me the Roosters biggest problems is they have some STUPID STUPID players.I'm amazed at how some of them even bother with the sport. Basically the brawn and shill is there but the brains are elsewhere. And why bother aiming up in defence when the games already lost? Why not do it all game? DER.

Will Money Bill walk out on them when they are getting flogged next year too?

Maloney might spark them up a bit.

Mini is way past it (sadly), Friend is slow and useless, Anasta doesn't do anything, and Pearce has struggled the last 2 months after a good start.

Only bright spots to come out of this year are Cordner, Tasi and Moga. Seluini is a good pickup too.

Young team who has virtually no star quality in it. Especially compared to other teams. Not to mention our spine is terrible. Friend provides the slowest service in the game, Anasta is his usual disinterested self, Pearce never kicked on from his good form at the start of the season (and hasn't seemed to have improved in the last 3 seasons), while Mini is long past it.

Agreed. I'd also add Guerra and Takaraingi in there too. Guerra has been running some good lines and is doing the work others should be doing, while Taka in his limited appearances has played like FPN should be playing with his massive pay packet.

Biggest lowlight goes to Mose. What a merkin. Biggest peaheart in the game. Never seen anyone need a trainer so often.
