Last year he was riddled with injury. What I see today is a rejuvenated player and a bloody good one at that. I would have him back in a heartbeat. I see glimpses of hope in our future players but not enough to remortgage. I'm fairly sure I said in an earlier post that if we could get him on a one year contract we'd be a better team for it. Dogs know it though.

Brett still has two-years left at the top level.

You only had to notice how he glided through the Dragons’ defence with ease and set up one of Canterbury’s tries to realise he’s one hell of an athlete.

I agree with you. Whether we can get him back is up to conjecture. Dogs have let a few go but seem reluctant to let him go for all the reasons you have pointed out. One can only wish.

The Chooks have just signed a Pommy winger as a replacement for Ferguson.

Morris will either remain at Canterbury (unlikely since his brother will be leaving), or will rejoin Saints.

The Dragons are on the verge of landing Canberra's Fijian winger Mikaele Ravalawa.
The 20 year old featured for the Raider's feeder side Mounties this year after being part of Fiji's world cup squad last year.

I think this was the outside back that SaltyDragon was talking about on JA.

Don't know a lot about him... Had a quick peruse of the Raiders forum and they seem to have wraps on him. It seems hard for the kid over there with Rapana and Cotric locking down those two wing spots and Ricky refusing to blood his juniors.
