Flanagan gets the gig for 18 months and then starts to find a way to exit and he will have brought Flanagan Jnr over in that period.

Flanagan Snr being back in the system for 18 months means he will have credentials of some sort to exit to ESL and take Flanagan Jnr with him as a package deal.

Timing for Flanagan Snr is excellent so he will tolerate what Ryles and others would not and of course Deano does a Bradbury and skates past everyone that has fallen before him.

Preordained and mutually beneficial to all concerned except the fans.
Excuse my ignorance but what is ESL?

Jamal Fogarty is set to test his value on the market come November. Definite downgrade, but if Hunt wants out so badly I just don't see how you can keep him. You can use the spare money to strengthen other positions I suppose. Just a thought, and I'm not exactly on board with it, but it's an option nonetheless

The current Board members at the Dragons as from November 2022 are as follows:-
  • Andrew Lancaster (Chairman)
  • Craig Osborne
  • Graeme Gulloch
  • Peter Doust
  • Ralph Piggott
  • Ben Creagh
  • Genevieve Gordon
  • Board member TBC
I have not seen anything to suggest that Craig Young has returned on the Board but I notice from the Dragons website that the last dot Board member is TBC (to be confirmed). Could this be Craig Young? Does anybody else have any further details?
Didn’t Martin Newman get that spot?
Just a dim memory

Dont worry about Old Timer Gardenia. He wants Flanagan to fail because he has not said sorry for his past desretion. Old Timer would rather the club go through another 2 years of crap just to get rid off Flanagan.
What a wanker you are.

Indeed I am no fan of Flanagan and for sure I doubt his ability.

For sure I wish the club had of appointed someone else however I have never wished him anything be it success or otherwise nor have I expressed an opinion that I want the club to fail as a way of getting rid of Flanagan.

In respect of wanting Flanagan to admit his indiscretions too right I do.

So best you stop trolling and lying about what I infer in my posts and get about your own business.

It would be a great move. This guy drives standards . He did it at Burleigh bears , titans and raiders. He’s exactly what’s we need . Goal kicker and top class human too.

The rat Weilder reckons we are interested in Drew Hutchinson

Not exactly or even remotely exciting news
To be fair, Hutchinson has been pretty solid for the Roosters and is able to cover multiple positions. I reckon Roosters fans would be filthy if they lost him which is always a good indicator of a solid signing. I’d take him over Flanno Jr imo.

Solid yes but not exactly overwhelming
Yes but a good cheap depth signing. We need those too!. Our depth players have been far less underwhelming. Hutchison reportedly on only $180K at the Roosters (not much more than the minimum wage). Dogs interested as well
Besides most weeks he has played 1st grade for the Roosters within their star studded side as there is usually someone out of the Top 17 injured or suspended. He would make our Top 17 and agree would add more value than Flanno Jnr

I like Hutchison, he's very versatile and more than solid as a half. His game against the Dolphins a few weeks ago was better than anything Amone has produced this year. I don't think he's comparable to Flanno Jr though because while he's versatile, dummy half is not really one of his positions

Good cheap depth signings have become a synonym for marquee signing for us.

I bet he wouldn’t accept 180k to play for us. Was touted as a junior that was going to be our superstar half 10 years ago. I can see him with something to contribute but feels a bit like the Mbye signing which was doomed to fail.

Is it set in stone that Flanagan is bringing his boy with him. All notices I have read of junior are negative and his stats dont exactly say pick me. On the other hand, Jamal Fogarty stats are far more enticing specially his running and organization..
