NRL360 deflecting from their beloved Dogs. I am sure there are a lot more of those blokes (I am hearing as much as 8) looking to leave, but hey lets keep reminding people about the the 1 Dragon player. Agenda driven, spot on.

I am sure players would also like to play for Penrith and win a comp so lets interview those guys as well every week and make a story. If you were to ask Burton and Kikau if they regret moving to the Dogs and had stayed at the Panthers I am sure they would say "absolutely". Ben sounds like a pretty dumb guy who can easily be baited by the press for a story at the drop of a hat. If there is no news for the week, lets talk to Ben Hunt. He will drop some bomb on Saints and give us a story for the week is probably what they all think. Great Capt he is.

Do you think Saints are waiting on the Parra NRLW team to finish this week to announce Browny as our new head of recruitment? Geez, I really hope so. If not why is this taking so long to get someone in? You would have thought they would have someone in by now so they can start getting the roster in shape asap.

Good to see Musgrove released. Anyone know if he was on much coin?

Seriously ...Sits on the bench at the Tigers ....please
Agree but SL beckons as they are desperate for forwards. SL also struggling for player talent having to draw more and more from here. Both here and there comps are struggling to fill talent..wonder why
Yes Twal just a solid toiler but would be ahead of MMolo & BMM for prop depth spots. Maybe even Ryan Couchman & Fifita until they are ready.
We need better though

I agree BLM. He is an honest toiler and is to a certain degree in the mould of Blake Lawrie, just a smaller body. Although he comes off the bench for the Tigers, he can play big minutes. I wouldn’t say no to him (we take all the Tigers rejects anyway). He is certainly a better option than BMM.

Agreed, wouldn't mind as a depth signing, he is solid without being spectacular, I think the Couchman's already offer more but understand they are kids and need to work up to consistent first grade. I would rather this guy than BMM, or F-Mariner from Bulldogs.

Looks like we are stuck with this log as no on else wants him. Failed to reach 100m all season. Now if anyone is NSW Cup standard it is this bloke, not Musgrove. Any word about offloading both Fegais. Cant believe Flanno wants to keep Matt the Mouse, as he keeps leaving his home, the wing, for cheese.
People are quick to forget Mat's first season where he was outstanding and our best winger. He was safer than Ravalawa, a better defender and showed some real promise in breaking tackles and a lethal left foot step. He's had a good season, and he's had a bad season. I'm not casting definitive judgement just yet. I think he could end up a good centre too, probably not quite what we need on the wing at this stage. Unlike Suli, he's shown an ability to pass the ball more than competently, has variation in his runs (ie the step, tackle busting, etc), and is still very strong, so we don't lose a HEAP of Suli's ball running ability. You lose a bit in that regard, but gain so much more through Mat's other attributes. I want to see how he goes next season, that will paint a clearer picture.

@Dragon David ...give the Hunt stuff a rest for now ( flanno knows what he is doing...;-) ... There is a lot happening behind the scenes...

Hunt is the least of our problems... the squad will look very different in 25.... and next year as well...

Watch this space.
Wow, sounds interesting.
Take these stories with a grain of salt....Media driven agenda...

There is a lot going on in the background...

P.S... I probably should not have put this link up...Apologies @Dragon David .

Not my intention to upset people....

Believe 1/2 of what you read in the media...and you will be closer to the truth.

Good news will filter through eventually.... I understand we have all been burnt by the last 10 years of mediocrity....Flanagan will not suffer fools...

Better days ahead...especially 25.
Is Lancaster still prominent in all this , do you know GS ? Is he due to stand down as his year is up or did it get extended ?

I agree , but let him show us what he’s got from reserve grade !

Who else we gonna sign for 2024 , amongst the list of great off contract talent include Nathan Brown and Eddie Blacker , it’s slim pickings mate
Like all on here Rig , am hopeful and patient , that a prominent signing is imminent . Flanagan has reached out to many .
Most im thinking are still involved in this years Finals esp Melbourne and Roosters ...Need to land a marquee forward type in particular
Hoping but yes frustrating

I cannot bring myself to read this. The "at this stage I am going to play at the Dragons for all of next year" comment from our Captain is very hard to stomach. It is disrespectful and annoying. He is 33 years old, he knows what he is doing with the media. No one put a gun to his head to sign the contract last year under Griffin. And suddenly now he wants to go home to QLD now dad has been given the flick?

I can't even continue. How he is still our captain is hard to understand. I hope Flanno has a plan and is playing the player.
X2 he needs to go , I have said from the beginning , that he will bring it up again and wants out ...... Whether it's all bull crap from the media or not , he has tarnished the club and himself .......

You did not rate him Slippery? Was better than Reggie standard imho.
For Carr not to give him much of a run in FG he must not be a good trainer. He has been to a few clubs so it appears there must be something not right for him to be moved around a lot. Just my hunch.

I expected him to be a great signing tbh, but it did not work out, right from the start with his off field drama with Rava in his first off season with the Dragons.

Hunches are sometimes spot on. Think about his last 2 clubs being the bottom 2 and he could not even hold a regular 1st grade spot there.. he shone where he belonged.
beggars belief why Ben Haran and others could not do due diligence and thought buying a fringe wooden spoon team player would strengthen arguably a better team at least on paper which we are..just.
And Ben Haran is mostly to blame as he ran recruitment last year and goes straight on the front foot with a press release (just about the only time we hear from him) how valuable such signing will be and what he brings to our organisation
