Would not pay over 500 for Dufty. If he wants more he better develop fast.

He will no doubt be a gun player but right now he's still young and learning, not ready for the big bucks yet

Dufty should be no where near 500k, at this stage more like 250-300K tops...

Kelly’s defensive deficiencies are just as bad as Aitkens, don’t really want him tbh.

That being the case he will be a dragon for sure , he will be the perfect match for our current center with feet like hands .

Other clubs already interested...Warriors are the concern....its not always black and white..(no pun intended )...They have to find a pathway for him and a lot of that falls on the coach...

I'm not confident he is staying...maybe Dragonsamy has heard something recent as my info is from a while ago.

I doubt Field plays he has a hammy problem.
Lonax could either come onto the bench or start on a wing with Periera to the bench or start him at centre abd have Aitken on the bench (i think Lonax is a right centre not left).
All of those could work but i'm guessing he'll go wurh the first one.

Dufty needs to improve hes positional play and urgency in defence , too many occasions when we have had try's scored against us he is nowhere to be seen..

I have just been back a week from 4 months overseas so after going to ANZ Stadium last Sat I decided today I would go watch the ISP team. Patrick Herbert was fantastic. He is so strongly built. He ran very hard and fast, very tough to tackle, very safe at fullback. Looked like a real footballer and leader. Very disappointed he hasn't had a run in the top grade. I have no doubt he will be a topline NRL player. The big question is will it be with us?

If Matt Dufty's Manager is really looking for mega dollars he will open the door for recruitment considering several other full back options including:

Widdop
Herbert
Lomax
Field

Big mistake on young Dufty's part if his agent is pressing for unreasonable dollars.

His defence, positional play, and ability catching the high ball still very much a work in progress.

The Club could very easily re-shape the spine by playing:

1: Widdop/Herbert/Field/Lomax
6 Widdop/Mann/Field
7 Hunt/Mann
9 McInnes/Robson/Hunt

The Point is, our club has options.

Yep...coach should have had him in the starting side somewhere....Wing or centre ..he's too good to be on the bench...
