That Volkman news is hilarious if true.

Please, please let us be one of the clubs speaking to the May bros, Terrell in particular.
We need a big prop and this guy more than fits the bill with size, skill, heaps of off loads and a 98.5% tackle efficiency. His bros go alright as well.

Perfect opportunity for the Dragons. Brothers together never a bad thing. Make it happen.

I don't even cry for how deep a hole we have dug ourselves into - it's actually laughable at this point - but I cry for how long I know it will take to get our way out of it. We can't even seem to make a tangible start on that. This is one shambles of an organisation.
Are the fans of the other clubs having a big laugh at us. Nothing appears to go right for us. Please don't let things happen to the other guys we have just recruited by golly jingo!! ... and please can we actually sign a somebody with all we ask for in him like size, strength, power, speed and the rest?

I think its beyond laughing at us now, i'm sure they did a bit on the way down. Actually my non- Dragons friends just wince when I bring the subject of our club up. Akin to putting on a Rolf Harris song and jigging along.

I believe there will be a wind of change. Fortunes will turn around but as an organisation set up the way it is, against some very savy-run opposition, success doesn't even seem possible.

Thanks for the explanation as I’m genuinely curious. If we don’t restructure the Dragons in some way similar then they might as well send us off to Perth as far as I’m concerned. The boards security has well and truly killed us off.
Just keep your eye out for an improved performance this season. A winning team would negate most of the angst. The team should be much fitter this season and we do have some new recruits to freshen up a few positions.

The last two coaches had us up at certain times as well, Possm. I think we will see improvements purely because of having a better coach. I agree with you on that but I just can't put my belief into this particular group of players who are all we have at the end of the day. They've always thought of about 5 ways to let you down before they do anything of merit on the field. Not really a dedicated team and I don't see how we sustain anything more than credible efforts this season.

I have always thought Tyrone May was a solid player unfortunately he had the off field dramas that ruined his NRL career. It was a while though so definitely worth the punt as I am sure he has learnt from that. I would go him first as he may be the easiest to get with a chance to get back into the NRL. The other 2 may follow after that.

How would he have learnt from it if he found what he did funny and showed no remorse? The only thing he learnt is don't do that or you might not have an NRL contract afterwards. Hasn't learnt anything about decency, respect and being a good person.

I know your name is Desperate Dragon but god no to Tyson Gamble.
Average player. Champion grub.
Just throwing it out there.
Now with Corey Allan injured, Flanagan and the club really need to hit the player market hard and find a utility player or 2 for the halves and outside backs.
From all reports we have got plenty of money still to be spent in our 2024 cap.
