How does this equate to a massive signing for the Dragons, if anything we want to piss Hunt off.

To be fair I do think this is a bit of media hype, and a few things being taken out of context. He did say he is happy at the Dragons and wants to stay, he is focused on SOO and getting the Dragons going in the right direction, that part worries me

We may be less effective for a while but there is an opportunity for a half with self belief to own a team.

We do need a leader, I agree with that part. Hunt was not always great - had a spell with us where he was a bit ordinary. We need someone who can recognise talent to go scouting for us. The hard part is getting someone of note to come so we need to find some raw talent.

Yar unfortunately this is the case (dont get ur hopes up), however if Hunt does get moved on in 2024, and we end up with a genuine marquee, I will be bowing down to our new saviour.

So far this season, Hunt has been outplayed by Sam Walker, Jackson Hastings, Jake Cogger, Toby Sexton, I’m just naming the halves who are supposedly not elite.

I think the coach has finally worked out that he doesn’t have a game managing half in Hunt, so maybe it’s better we let him go now and target somebody else.
