I love the way Gus seems to have unlimited access to PVL...dropped it on 100% Footy last night that he's seeing him today...just rang up and organised an instant appointment...wonder what they talk about??
I really enjoyed his involvement in the game when he was relatively impartial.. plus he was always in the corner of the 'struggling clubs' and how difficult it was for them to get out of the cellar..

Now he never talks about that stuff.. the dogs have become his life mission.. sux for everyone else.

All the shit talk from big Toady Gus trying to make the NRL relevant.

The Mole and every other shit journalist offering dumb arse articles which are purely click bait.

Last weekend 60,000 odd at the Swans V Port Adelaide game 96,000 odd at the Lions V Cats game and what did we get for our semi's lol.

The G F at the MCG will be bursting with 100,000 for 2 teams based interstate with a massive overflow at the Fitzroy and Bloods old home grounds.

And guess what they have draft system wake up Vlandy's and Abdo stop ruining our game.
No names, no pack drill, but when I was a much younger man I worked as a barman at a certain horseracing facility with a large restaurant and many bar outlets. I ran the restaurant bar which was all table service. My first night there I was surprised by the stock and register procedures. There was a storeroom behind the bar for liquor and smokes but there was no stocksheet. Stock came freely in and out of the bar without records. The tap beer came from distant common cellars.

At the end of the night I was not required to reconcile stock, the register tape, or cash (usually around $5,000). Instead, I was given a calico cash bag and was told to put the till roll and the unbundled and uncounted cash in the bag and take it to the board room.

At the boardroom, I was admitted to something like a scene from the movie Casino. There was a long table, maybe eight meters long, around it the usual plush leather chairs. There were eight or ten men in the room, but they were not sitting. They were smoking and drinking scotches etc and having a good laugh. The board table was covered end to end with cash and till rolls. I was told to empty my calico cash bag out onto the table with the rest, which I did, so now my bar's takings were irrevocably commingled with those of every other bar and food outlet in the place.

Sports administrator. I imagine that can be quite a gig.

I suppose it means gus may ask for hunt.. don't forget Belmont is closer to Brisbane which will make him happy

Reports circulating we have offered Mikaele Ravalawa for Josh Addo Carr lmao
There is going to be a bit to play out with JAC in the coming weeks.
I have no doubt Gus will want to move him on asap.
His preference will be a deal with a new club, that new club paying full freight to make the release clean and easy for the Dogs.
Flanagan looking to sign another outside back, hopefully at a discounted salary cap portion for year 1.
It is a big if, but if a deal can be done that suits both parties, I could see JAC playing for the Dragons in 2025.

trouble being you would be lucky to get him playing consecutive weeks with all his injuries

What are you saying he is young man out at a night club like millions of others. You dont even know what happened as charges were dropped so he might of been there like many others when coppers get called out to scenes..but did no wrong. You did not hear about in 2023..why?. He was not playing 1st grade.
I am truly over bias NRL reporting who are there for air time out of building up these players as whatever and cant wait to bring them down to fill space and point the finger. No wonder expectations and mental health in young professionals is an issue.
