It's at this point every year, when the boys come back looking fit and strong, and ripping into training, that I start getting excited again and end up putting money on them to make the 8. I do it every year but I promised myself I wouldn't do it this year for obvious reasons. I'm going to do it though.

Hahahah, I was close to putting 5 k last year . Asked a few people’s opinions first and I got talked out of it luckily. If we sign a marquee forward, I’m in this year.

Every year they say the same thing during and after pre season. Every team probably does.
"Boys have had a really good pre season, come back fresh, fitter and stronger and ready to rip in"
5 weeks into the season and more of the same stuff, nothing changes.
All we can do is hope next year is an improvement.

I think we will do better than expected.. call me a dragons tragic…$100 on for top 8
Our injuries toll last year surely can’t happen again. Atkinson will be a great addition and all the young forwards are one year stronger. I think we can make the 8, need 2-3 quality players for 27 to become a top 4 candidate.
Atkinson should be nice and fresh next season, after sitting on the bench most of this year.

If we sign tuilagi and one experienced prop (doesn’t have to be a marquee) I’d be pretty confident. Not much change from last year as well as hopefully less injuries. We lost so many games in a close margin I think Atkinson can change that for us (he beat the storm single handedly in Melbourne)
id take a mid tier prop but we do need a game breaker like jayden campbell or utility back who can cover halves fullback

I think your right Big Lance.
I still believe Uele would be good as his form for the Sharks was very good for the second half of the season.
I also feel we need a game breaker in the back line, but there is not much on offer.

Despite his young years I think Halangahu will have an absolute break-out year for us. He looks the business.
He is one of my favourites/ In which position do you see him playing in first grade and who will he replace?

If we don't sign a decent prop, maybe Leilua to prop and Halangahu to 11.

8. Leilua
9. Liddle
10. T Couchman
12. Su'a
13. Egan
14. Cook
15. Kerr
16. Toga
17. Stewart

Yes I think he'll be coming off the bench and giving our back rowers a run for their money.

No self respecting, fully fit, quality forward is going to come to our club to play behind Kyle Flanagan as a 6 or 7.

Our young forwards will more than likely be fatigued and/or injured by 2/3rds of the way through the season.

If you think Hook & Mc Fookknuckle set us back it will be nothing compared to what is coming our way whilst this f**king farcical protection of KF remains in place.

Hard slog out of our own end and slow and predictable ball that will get you hammered before the ad line is coming their way.
