I agree their roster is quite lop-sided and they are also reliant on trying to rescue careers of players long let go by smarter clubs.I think Souths are miles off a premiership

Fifita and Mitchell tend to be lazy. They might be seen holding hands together and walking aimlessly around the goal posts.Souths have added Fifita to their squad and already have a high quality pack of forwards. I doubt very much that they have the salary cap to match our offer to KK.
That’s why I particularly like KK as a target - he has these qualities written all over him IMO.The man certainly would not receive a better offer than the Dragons- I don’t believe . $5million dollars over 5 years ! Wow that ain’t chicken feed .
He is undoubtedly a very good forward whom could bring enormous experience to our younger generation of players not to mention to actually lead our pack which has been missing for many seasons now .
My only concern is that for that sort of money I would be expecting his very best every time he takes the field as anything less would not be value for money .
No but we can basically match what Parra are offering we have 22 players off contract after 2027 too. For 28 and 29 we can offer big money! I’m not so sure our forward pack is as good as you say we ran second last for metres in the forwards last year out of the whole NRL. Without Keaon we would’ve been screwed. Prop is an area we are weaker in too so Keaon is a high priority. Moale is going and Keppie has been told he won’t be renewed. I haven’t been impressed with Moale or Keppie. Tatola has had bad injuries of late too. We have Ataata who should debut this next season and a couple of other younger props but they aren’t ready yet.Souths have added Fifita to their squad and already have a high quality pack of forwards. I think the bunnies are still favourites to keep him, but we are going above market value to poach him, and doing what we can. If he doesn’t accept our offer than so be it, I wouldn’t want to offer more.No but we can basically match what Parra are offering we have 22 players off contract after 2027 too. I feel the same.We run the risk of losing a Halangahu, Couchman or Egan if go too heavy on KK their value is only going to go up on their next deal. I really want to land KK but it comes with huge risk also.
He wants to announce something as in staying or signing with us? Pick one…Last i heard Taulagi delay was due to personal reasons have heard since he wants to announce something before Christmas i have no idea how true that is.
Averillo unsure all i know is Flanno was interested.
Us apparently source doubled down again this morning and said he is coming. He wants to announce something as in staying or signing with us? Pick one…
For me their biggest problems are like we had , they need to get rid of Latrell and Walker before they can move forward .......I agree their roster is quite lop-sided and they are also reliant on trying to rescue careers of players long let go by smarter clubs.
Even the doggies have a limit on their funds , so I do not believe that we need to concern ourselves about an offer from them. However the rorters have always waited until all offers have been made then come out of nowhere and somehow or other make an offer ( which leaves them under the salary cap of course) then pounce on the player.Bulldogs have been very quiet here. That worries me
I think that by the time we need to upgrade these youngsters, we will have shed all the deadwood and average-quality players in our top 30.We run the risk of losing a Halangahu, Couchman or Egan if go too heavy on KK their value is only going to go up on their next deal. Excellent assessment. For me their biggest problems are like we had , they need to get rid of Latrell and Walker before they can move forward .......
