Luc maybe, Kerr and timm

I really don’t know what to say . That is so indicative of the St.George Illawarra pathway system - young players with so much potential whom are given very limited top grade experience , are then told to move elsewhere. In their case definitely to greener pastures where their true talent will be realized.

Big Luc could be anything and if they do give him the royal shove then he will come back and bite McGregor right on his butt . As to Kerr and Timm , once again they were frontrowers awaiting their opportunity . I know a couple of journeymen who should had made way for both of them . Kerr and Timm , both big fellas who would had made a difference to our 2019 campaign if only they had been given the chance - but the maestro knows best .

Widdop's money plus some more is probably going to Norman and Graham.
100% correct and I don't understand why others cant see that is how it works.
Those signings so many thought were "great deals" because the 1st year or so were subsidised by their old clubs failed to realise that we pay full freight odds at the back end of the contract.
Good business by the clubs that moved them on as the end result of their badly constructed deal lands in someone else's lap.
Only ever a good deal if you win the comp in the 1st year they come to you.

Yeah but he is enjoying have his nob sucked by his favourites so a bite on the arse compared to a polished head no comparison.

Who do you think will be leaving to accommodate him?
Dont know excatly but hearing a handful of forwards wont b there next year to accommodate Frizz's last year payment and
Maybe a heap players
Host, Lats, Allgood, Robson, Timm (all contracted players in 25)...maybe Graham
JDB I think regardless of court outcome wont play NRL next year and have a year off so not sure salary wise wht happens there,

What makes you think JDB won’t play if found not guilty? He is contacted and near the end of his career I’d say he would be pretty keen to rip in and make amends.

I don’t understand it because when they signed Graham on a back ended deal they weren’t anticipating Widdop leaving. So they would have allowed for his contract money, with the understanding Widdop was still there. So Widdops portion of the contract should go directly to Norman with change unless there were some serious mismanagement of the salary cap.

Doesn't always work that way...players want upgrades and Development players move up into the Top 30 and require upgrades.

FCD-- we then went out and got Norman at a cut price deal for 2019 BUT top $$$ for the rest of his deal - reported 900 thou so thats where widdops dough has gone plus the full price of graham

That won’t happen he will need the money and he’s under contract he won’t volunteer to sit out the season he will sit it out on full pay leaving 6-700k on the sidelines. What I can see happening is that he gets off most charges but gets a minor violence charge in which the club will have grounds to terminate his contract. The club has been very swift in dealing with violence against Women in the cases of AFB and DN so if that were the case I imagine they will do the same but are at the moment legally bound. Issue is that it doesn’t leave us long to get a replacement. I agree that we should prepare for the worst though and I’d be playing Luciano and Blake Lawrie there in the off season.
