According to fox Sports we let frizell go in hopes of chasing better outside backs Addo-Carr is on the list so after about 5 seasons they are finally ready to address our outside backs situation.
Is it coincidence that it is an issue to be addressed with the addition of a premiership winning coach to our club or better said........ a coach

As hundreds have said before, it’s just pointless shuffling of the deck chairs on the Titanic while Andrew Gordon keeps his embarrassing bestie in place.

Pretending players are leaving for any other reason than McI’mFuc/ked is worthy of a shrink appointment Andrew
:joy: one of his best names

With the season starting and then stopping where has the Lurker gone, he always was worth reading, just a rumour trash column but was worth a read

So SGI have yet to stand anyone down? Or are they just not talking about it?
Not sure why we have to stand down our 1st grade park football club staff as they are run by a group of volunteers...or so it seems
I wont include Flanno, Shep or lower grades in that statement.

As per the news tonight on ch9.....

Chris Johns, ex Dragon / Bronco, has teamed up with Tangalooma Island resort want to house all 16 clubs, shuttle them to nominated grounds to play out the season.

Nice thought but are the players going to stay away from their families for 6 months?

If they want to get paid I’m sure they’ll be in it, particularly the younger single boys.
Not sure it’s feasible though.

Anything Chris Johns suggests, I would disregard straight away. He was well and truely involved with the debacle called Super League with John Ribot DeWanker. That set the game on a course of greed and treachery that is still evident to this day.
The game needs a huge adjustment back to the future with astute financial control and payment adjustments to survive.
Chris Johns can go and get stuffed......probably a share holder in that resort as well!

Apparently the virus doesn’t survive easily above 27degrees, so perhaps relocation across 3 States to Darwin/Cairns/Broome might work for those wishing to push the envelope?

Surely the NRL must realise they are losing faith in the eye of the public?
They wont to keep offering up piss arse solutions to a problem that wont fix anytime soon.
All about "them" and very little about "us".
The "isolated elite" aren't exactly putting their hand up to make other peoples lives better they are only putting their hands up to complain about their loss of income and how tough it all is for them and to put forward some cockarse idea why they should be allowed to play on.
Now some f**ked up idea that they can play the game up in Qld probably linked to the absolute stupidity that the virus doesn't do so well in hot climates.

OT the sooner the NRL and players realise the game won’t go ahead in 2020 then set plans for 2021. The Government is working on a 6 month contingency plan to isolate and social distance and we have the worse to come with our winter season to get thru.
The NRL are living in fairy land and the game will never be the same on it’s return. Players need to adjust their lifestyles accordingly to reflect the downward spiral of the cap & payments.

In fact the jury is still out on the effect of temperature on COVID-19

A study on SARS showed there was a link on virus viability due temperature and relative humidity

Well said Coffs Dragon. The implications of what's happened this year are going to be huge. Whilst this has been a tragedy on so many levels for so many people, I think rugby league needed a complete reset anyway as the current model was unsustainable. It's unfortunate that it's taken something like this to highlight what we knew all along, that the game needed a change and to completely restructure the way it handles its finances to remain viable in the years to come.

So potentially Indonesia has nothing to worry about then?
I'm sure they will all be pleased to hear that.
IMO human nature and behaviour will have a lot more to do with transmissions than temperatures.

Yeah, whilst the facts of Covid19 are still being gathered, its hard to say one way or the other.

I do agree though that the notion of continuing the comp in some warmer climate region, yet in a country dealing with this pandemic, is a sign of desperation and out of touch with the rest of the community in general.
