All our ageing forwards will go including De Belin, Frizell, Graham and Vaughan and maybe the Sims brothers. We need to develop and encourage our younger players such as Blacker, Brittain, Ford, Fuimaono, Gale, Host, Kerr, Lawrie, Mc Innes, etc. The current young forwards remind me of Bath's Babes from 1977-79.

Wholeheartedly agree Dragon Revival , there is still some good raw talent in the lower grades and the Dragons need to move heaven and earth to ensure that they are not lost to other clubs as has been the case in the past.

But that unfortunately leads us back to the clubs coaching system and beyond that to the absolute pig- headness of the J.V. hierarchy who will not change a damn thing that will lead to some form of achievement or success .

To cut a very long story short we , the St.George Illawarra Dragons require an abundance of fully qualified coaches who insist upon nothing but the very best from their young charges , to mentor them and instill the will to win in each player .

Only when that step is taken will the Dragons be able to come out of this gloomy valley of shadows where they have been hibernating for nine long years and once again breathe fire .

The older players have failed to win us a premiership and we need to maintain quality juniors plus a core of quality recruits mentored by a quality coach (as opposed to our incompetent coach who loses us juniors and recruits and 7 in 10 games) to lift the crown which is 10 years overdue!

something positive for a change !!! If true then lets see if someone can find out any details about it
did someone actual talk to frizz and get the real reason he wants out ? maybe it was then a telephone call to all players asking same question and guess what the answers all came out the same - he has lost the dressing room and shep and flanno are like a breath of fresh air ...... well I hope it went something like that just so long its true ......
Now we have to see if this rumour grows legs or its just another one to get our hopes up then bring us to our knees .. Hopefully our new CEO has acted ,,, lets clean the floor of those bloody dirty footprints that are all over the place

if its true then an announcement should happen soon , new coach would need to start when training re commences which is 4 may ? so countdown on fingers crossed

Sure, players now on 500k a year knowing their next contract will be lucky to be 300k are willing to cancel this contract ( as forcing the board to make a decision would be against their contract conditions ) ?? Dont think so. That's why most dont come out and criticize any facets of the club they play for, it's in their contract.
